Yes, but it’s beautiful from the sand & cliffs. I don’t swim in the ocean even when it’s warm. Darn jellyfish

Kalispell or Whitefish, Montana. Right next to Glacier National Park. Middle sized towns of about 35,000 between the two. I love being close to the mountains and Glacier is my favorite park.

Carmel/Monterey. The views are just stunning. Or DC area. I love to run past the monuments and visit the museums!

We live in Long Beach CA, but it has always been a compromise - nice, has jobs, but not fantastic. If we had our choice we'd move back to the Central Coast where we went to school - San Luis Obispo would be our first choice, nearby like Morro Bay, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande would totally work. I would not be unhappy in Santa Barbara either.
