LEEDS UNITED
Fan i have a duty in life to let my brothers and sisters out there let it be known that there is no other team in England(nevermind the world)better than LEEDS UNITED.
if you need help from escaping your addiction to your said club please accept help from the following band of brothers,
Ireland... Oh yes, I would love to do a pub tour and see the countryside. We are planning on a visit in two years, rent a car, stay at Bn'B's, and just drive.
Oh gosh there are so many but if I had to pick just one I would have to say Scotland, because that is where my mothers family is from. I would love to see Egypt, Greece and Italy (Rome and the Tuscan region especially)
Originally posted by EdiePA I'd love to visit the Holy Land -- in fact, a friend and I were talking about doing just this as soon as her DD graduates from high school.
By all means go. To see the Holy Land is truly an experience. My husband and I were lucky enough to live in Israel and so could travel at our leisure.
Don't be put off by the violence. Be cautious, but violence has always been a part of the Middle East. Remember, at one time, there were rock throwers pitching rocks at Roman soldiers.
Right now it's a toss up between Italy and Greece. Italy because I feel like I need to see in person the art and architecture masterpieces that I've been teaching the past year. Plus, have seen pictures of my friend on the coast and in Tuscany and it looks stunningly gorgeous. Greece because the food would be amazing, I would finally see the ancient Greek theatres, and I could sail to numerous islands and eat lots of fish!
Of course my DH would be voting for Ireland and Scotland (big into medieval history, castles, swords, and stuff), so if we ever do get this kind of money to travel, it could be a heated discussion.
