IF you could tell Disney....Update New?

I am planning to send this thread to disney again, but would like to add additional information. Would you mind estimating what you spent on your disney scrapbooks. I figure I spent on paper, embellishments, and new page protectors around $300.00. OF thate amount, DCL saw only $60 and the parks $15. Joannes and Micheals got the bulk of the money.

On my wedding album, I spent $500. Disney only got $30 of that and it was for the event photography printing of our pictures with the castle. Everything else was Craft/LS Stores

I spend over $2000 a year on disney embellishments for my buisness all that goes too the craft stores.
when i went to WDW about 2 years ago i spent only $150!!! I took $1000 with me just for scrapbook stuff.
They're "pre-made" small scrapbook was pathetic could they have gotten an actual scrapbooker to design it????......

I would really like to see some "nice" 12x12 papers ... maybe with some *subtle* hidden Mickey-type patterns.

DF & I are in our 40's with no kids, but we take tons of pics at the World. One of our treats to ourselves is the Garden View Tea, so papers and embellishments about the GF would be nice.

And we are getting married at the Wedding Pavillion next Feb., so obviously I would love some of that subject matter! :cloud9: Don't get me wrong, I love the Mouse, but something other than Mickey & Minnie in wedding clothes or Cindy & PC would be nice.

Last but certainly not least, more STITCH!

As for how much I've spent/would spend ... last year in total (Michael's & AC Moore) was ~$500. :scared: Since it was ALL Disney-themed stuff, I can truthfully say that I would spend a similar amount at WDW if they had things I couldn't buy at home.

I would estimate that since November, I have spent about $1,400 on Disney stuff. Most of this has been bought online from various stores and a big chunk of it at Walmart.

I have spent almost $1,800 on my Disney scrapbooking so far. Most of it went to Michael's and AC Moore. I think I only spent about $30 at WDW for some paper packs, most of which I haven't even used!

I really wish they would have some more subtle Disney paper as well as embellishments themed for some of the major rides like Splash Mountain , Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, etc., and some resort specific papers and embellishments as well! It would also be nice to have some nice 12x12 albums that are not so in-your-face Disney!

I'm not sure what my Disney total would be, but on our last trip I don't think I bought any of their kits. I just wasn't that crazy about them and still have plenty I haven't used from other trips. Any thing Disney I do buy is from AC Moore, online sellers or from vendors and scrapbooking events. I have 5 Disney Cricut cartridges and hope to soon buy one more. I wish at Disney World they had more papers with smaller park icons. There's no sense in using a full 12 x 12 sheet with the castle on it if you are going to cover the castle with pictures. The frames that come with the kits are too small.

I couldn't even tell you what I have spent on Disney stuff. Probably thousands but only maybe 100 at WDW, including albums.

Wow, I don't think I even want to know how much I've spent on stuff for my Disney scrapbook(s)! It's a lot. ;) I buy most of it online, and here and there from LSS, AC Moore, etc. I have 4 of the Disney Cricut carts (would LOVE if they made a cart with general park stuff, like attractions, etc.)

I did buy several scrapbook things at Disney, but I would have gotten LOADS more if they had better stuff. One kit that I'm only happy I got since it has the only stitch sticker I've seen. I bought one of the sticker on a roll packs, but I haven't used any yet (not sure if I will.) Last month, I bought one of the magnet sets that look like epoxy stickers, and figure I can use it in my scrapbook. The only thing that I bought last year & this year, and I will probably always buy if they have it, is the year sticker.

I have spent at least $1,000 on Disney Scrapbooking stuff. I only spent $125the last time I was at WDW. We are going back May 1st and I have $700 dedicated to purchasing scrapbook stuff. If things aren't any better than last time, I'm sure Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and my LSS will get the majority of that money once I get home!!!

Can I answer this backwards? If Disney had good scrapbooking embellishments and paper, I would budget $500 per trip. Last two trip, I spent about $20.

Well, went to DL yesterday and fully expected to buy at least 1-3 kits (since it was a BAN ok'd day for me). Well, I didn't find 1!!! Not even the 2008 kit which I wanted so I could do a "First year as AP holders" book. :( So let's see, in just one of my many visits to DL this year, they are already out ~$60.

I only ended up getting a couple of coloring books which I am hoping to scan and use for paper piecings.

Please take time to read the comments in the attached thread from DIS scrapbook board. Scrapbooking in the parks and on Disneyshopping.com is practically non-existant. The questions posed concerned what items and how much do you spend on scrapbook materials. We are virtually an untapped market by the Disney company itself. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1758143 WE WANT DISNEY EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL AND WILL PAY FOR THEM!!!!!! Can you hear me now? Thank you for your time and consideration.

Will post the reply when received.

Not the standard form letter from the last time. The $$$ must have got someone's attention.

Do I write to the address if I want to sell stuff? I don't want to sell it, I want to buy it!!

Is there an address we can all send to? I would think both email and paper mail to boot and maybe if a bunch of us do it at once it will have more impact!
