If you could stay @ 1 Deluxe Resort..

We keep changing our minds as to whether we want to stay at a Deluxe next year or another cruise or something else. If you could only pick 1 Deluxe Hotel which one and why? We own at BCV and have BTDT (and will do again), but I am talking along the lines of GFm AKL, etc.

the Polyn - love the monrail transportation to both MK and Epcot (you can walk to T/T),the atmosphere, the CM here.

(I would like to try the Boardwalk but seeing as I know what the Beach Club is like already..I'd stick with the BC. )

I have never been fortunate enough to stay here, but my *dream* resort is the Poly. I love that it's on the monorail & it just looks like a fun resort to stay at.

Maybe one day.

We do love WL, though & look forward to staying there this summer. It's just beautiful.

We love the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Not only are the theming and animals great, but there's a lot to do if you just want a rest day at the resort. Plus it has the largest pool at WDW. And if you aren't staying at one of the outrageously expensive monorail resorts, then having a dedicated bus service like AKL is almost as good!

I found the outrageously expensive monorail resort to be very convenient, so I'd pick the Poly (only because I've already stayed at the GF and would like to try others now). But the WL is calling my name, too.

For access to the MK, we vote for the Polynesian. For access to the rest of WDW, we vote for the Beach Club.

The Poly! We just came back from a long weekend and totally fell in love with it. WL used to be my favorite, and AKL was a close second, but after the Poly... everyone was bumped down a step!

We have stayed at the Poly, CR, YC and the Dolphin. I will say that by far the poly is our favorite. I told DW we might as well stay at a moderate or value if we stay anywhere but the Poly. The others are just large hotels, but the Poly feels to us like a resort. Very relaxing and lots of fun. I like the fact that we do not have to get on some elevator and trek a long distance down through a large busy lobby to get to the pool. The Poly is only three stories high and everything seems to be there, including O'Hanas which is one of our favorite restaurants. It is wonderful and IMHO the best. Jay

i've only stayed at GF so i would vote for that. we LOVED it, as did my 3 DD's.

My vote - POLY
DD (age 5) vote - Grand Floridian (she only wants to stay there because of the Full House episode)

We are planning our next vacation for CSR. I'd love to stay at the POLY but it's hard for me to justify spending that much money for a night. I am going into Real Estate next year so I might break down and split our stay. We're use to living on one income right now so when I work FT, it would feel like bonus money. I'd love to stay there for the whole 2 weeks, but that's quite expensive.

When it comes down to it, it will be between GF, Poly or AKL. GF because before it was even built I had been to the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego (which it was modeled after)and fell in love with that place. The GF is so pretty. I like the Poly because it reminds me of my trip to Hawaii in '87. (Wow..that was almost 20 years ago..my gosh )But I plan on going back to Hawaii in the next few years. Finally, AKL because of the animals..both of DD's love, love, love animals. Decision, decisions. Maybe we'll do GF 1st and the others later since GF is more expensive.

I vote for the Poly.....I had ressie's at the ASsports only because the rest of the family chose a value resort for our upcoming trip. I couldn't go back to a value-we took the plunge once and have kept going back to the Poly! Nothing beats its atmosphere!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Definitely the Poly! We stayed there last fall and are planning a trip back next fall. The atmosphere is so relaxing, yet you're so close to everything!
