If you could run disney: how would you change MK

Here is a fun post: what would you do to the MK if you could run disney. Without getting rid of to much and keeping a lot of the old stuff

MK: TL: change stich ride, the begining is fine and kinda cool, but the actual show is terrible, i dont how to change it, but i know it should be retooled. Add a new scence at the end of TCOP, i would also change the speedway to encourperate the new movie cars, or get rid of it all together.

I would get rid of Mickeys area and add a shadow land, featuring the villians. Add a castle for malisafent and put a ride in it like a drop ride, also add a headliner coasters, then add two fun drak rides, with the addition of this land Disney could put IOA out of business.

Fantasy land is great, i would keep it cause of all the rides Walt helped make,

Liberty square is fine

Frontier land is fine, but another small ride in the area would be fun

LAst is Adventure land, it is good, but maybe get rid of the jungle cruise, I know walt loved it, but he wanted the ride to have real animals and now AK has those animals, so that large area could be used for an indian jones ride or something else.
There are a lot of rides I would like to get rid of but i wouldnt want to get rid of to much of walts rides

Without a doubt dump the jungle cruise and a major overhaul on the speedway to make it more modern with Nascar looking cars and maybe a grandstand area. Maybe actually be able to enter the castle and tour it like they do with historic houses. Replica of Cinderellas room and the ball room... I always felt it was a dissapointment that it was just a hallway walkthrough.
the whole park needs to be a little roomier. The paths are so narrow compared to the other parks and you really feel the crowds there. I wouldn't change too much the great thing about MK is taking your kids on the same rides you went on when you were a kid.

Good ideas! I especially like being able to tour the castle and having different rooms set up. It could be the Graceland of Orlando!

I would like them to bring back Mr Toad's Wild Ride.
Add more monorails, so they can service the moderates.
Have the food at World Showcase be more authentic to the countries.

Hmm--I don't know that I'd change anything. I love MK.
Okay, one thing--change the meal in the Castle back to non-character. I loved the quiet lunch that used to be available there. The food was actually quite good. And Cinderella was in the lobby, available for pictures.

i think your ideas are great, but i don't think that putting another castle in MK would be wise. it would defeat the whole purpose of the Magic Kingdom. everyone associates Disney World with Cinderella's Castle.....if you put up another castle it would take away from the "magic" at MK.

I'm not sure i would change much either.

instead of changing the cars to nascars, they could be little "Herbie"s. that would be funny to see people racing around in a beetle!

And i totally agree about Stitch. It is horrible!!!!!

I love the idea of more monorails. surely this is more environmentally friendly than all those buses...

Spaceship earth is in need of some major renovations! I know people love it and it is a classic, but it is need of some serious upgrades.

the castle tour would be great, too.
