If you could redesign the All Star Music Resort- what would you do

Glad for the info :flower: since we're staying at ASMU for the 1st time in 2 weeks and there doesn't seem to be an 'All Star Music' thread.

I have a question, maybe one of you ASMU vets can answer. Is it possible to get a coffee maker in the room? If not, can I bring mine? I really don't like Disney coffee and the thought of an entire week without good coffee... Thanks!

Really applies to all the value resorts. I'd have some suite type of rooms. Something like Doubletree. Big enough to sleep at least 6, possibly using a sofa bed. Price it less than the cost of two rooms. If I was designing it from scratch I'd make it about 50% larger than the existing rooms, preferably with a full wall and door separating the two rooms.

Do a better job soundproofing the rooms.

We have stayed @ All Stars Movies & All Stars Music.
I liked Movies, loved Music.
Will return to Music.
All I would change would be.
Remove 1 of the double beds.
Add a Bunk bed & fridge.
Not many people need two doubles.
I think more people would get more use out of the bunks.
Also would make more floor space.

Mickey's sister there won't be a coffee pot in the room, only coffee available will be in the food court. We just send the "Mug Man" up to get it in the AM. I don't see why you could not bring a small pot to make your own, just be sure to unplug it when you leave the room. Be aware that there is little counter space for it to sit though.

We just got home from ASMusic, and I second every suggestion already made here.

Also....... maybe a second quick bus stop at the back of the resort, even if it only services one park or the T&T center...... just to save the long walk without a stroller. (I'll definitely pay the extra 10 bucks next time for a preferred room).

Also...... hair dryers in every room. We had to request one.

Love the bunk bed idea. We had connecting rooms, and it was better than a suite b/c we had two bathrooms, so it was worth paying for both rooms.

I expected it to be more "disney" and was surprised that it was not. But we still had a great time, and the price was right. (Altho I will probably split my trip next time, 1/2 at AS and 1/2 at a monorail resort, since the MK was the favorite with small children).

My 2 cents.

Thanks! Maybe I will bring mine. I was going to buy a refillable mug, but if I don't like the coffee, what's the point? That's the only downside I've found with staying at Disney - the coffee. I just really prefer a french roast. I would only have the pot plugged in while we're getting ready in the morning & since it's just my little boy & me, I don't think the lack of counter space would be much of an issue. Just one more thing to cart along with us though :confused3 Thanks again for the input.
