If you could plan a dream disney vacation

Well, this is embarrassing, but I have A LOT of different dream vacations! I'll only list my top 3, tho.
First:
1. GF
2. Christmas time
3. 2 weeks
4. V&As, Narcoosees, CRT
5. All of the holiday festivities

Second:
1. CR Theme Park View so I can watch the fireworks from my room!
2. Fourth of July
3. 1 week (maybe 2)
4. Cali Grill, Chef Mickeys
5. Keys to the Kingdom

Third:
1. AKL, Savannah view
2. May (I love going in May)
3. 2 weeks
4. Boma, Sanaa, Character meals
5. safari tour, and everything else AKL has to offer!

Yes! I think of this all the time!!!!

1. Contemporary with a bonus night in Cinderella Castle

2. Christmastime

3. One full week.

4. Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Faire, Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

5. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of course and Keys to the Kingdom

1. Resort - Split between Poly, AKL, and BC (a week at each)
2. Time of year - Late January into early February
3. Length of stay - 3 weeks, followed by a week on DCL in the Caribbean
4. ADRs - All the signatures! Plus all my favorites over again. :thumbsup2
5. Special events/tours - Backstage Magic tour, Keys to the Kingdom tour, Wild Africa Trek, Wishes and Illuminations fireworks cruises, Cirque, Characters in Flight

Oh, and I'd bring my parents and rent my dad a scooter with a sun shade and a holder for oxygen tanks. I'd get my mom her own room so she could get away from him for a while, too. :lmao:

Oh fun! This is going to be tough though!

1. Resort - Grand Floridian. It has always been my favourite
2. Time of year - Christmastime maybe
3. Length of stay - At least a few weeks
4. ADRs - Some of my favourites - 'Ohana, LTT, GFC, Cape May Cafe, the Wave, the Plaza, etc.
5. Special events or tours you might add - If money was no object, I'd splurge on things like a special meal at Victoria and Alberts and maybe an Epcot dessert party

1. Resort - split stay between Contemporary & Beach Club (club level, of course!)
2. Time of year - 1st 2 weeks of December
3. Length of stay - 1 week at each resort
4. ADRs - whatever I want with walk-up availability (now we know it's a fantasy)
5. Special events or tours you might add - Keys to the Kingdom, VIP guide, a night in Cindy's Castle.

Oh, and a crowd level of 2 on all days!

1. Resort
2. Time of year
3. Length of stay
4. ADRs
5. Special events or tours you might add

1. Contemporary Tower with Magic Kingdom view
2. I know this is crazy but summer, late June
3. I'm not going to be greedy so I will say 2 weeks
4. Cinderella Castle for dinner, Cape May Dinner, Chef Mickey dinner, LeCellier, Biergarten, breakfast at Crystal Palace, Luau at Poly
5. I'm not done any tours probably in fear of ruining the magic for me but I would do the segway tour in Epcot and the walking Safari tour.

If you could travel to wdw any time you wanted and work/money/family size wasn't a factor, what would you choose? I know some of you are lucky enough to do this, but I believe there are others out there like me that would need a lot of pixie dust. What would you choose?

1. Resort
2. Time of year
3. Length of stay
4. ADRs
5. Special events or tours you might add

1. Resort split stay between poly and GF (being a family of 5 we might even get two rooms)
2. I would go the end of october into the beginning of November.
3. Two weeks to overlap fall and christmas activities (being a teacher has limited my travel time options so this would be so great)
4.. More signature restaurants and trying new restaurants that we have never been to before
5. I would go to mnsshp and mvmcp. I would miss obsorne lights though and other Christmas fun, so I would have to book another trip maybe at WL?

1. Contemporary CL Bay Lake View
2. Early May or February
3. The rest of my life
4. I really haven't like any of the restaurants I have tried with reservations.

Katie

1. split stay GF, WL (2-bedroom suite of course)
2. last week of October, return 2nd week of Nov. with DCL in between
3. 4 weeks
4. I have everything I want for my upcoming trip :cheer2:
5. MNSSHP and MVVMC (twice), firework cruise, Keys to the Kingdom, Segway in Epcot and fishing for the boys.

What a fun idea. I would go a bit overboard, I'm afraid.
1. Resort - split stay: Boardwalk Inn, Contemporary, and one night in the Cinderella Castle suite
2. Time of year - over Christmas
3. Length of stay - 2 weeks
4. ADRs - Hollywood and Vine character lunch (for my son), Biergarten (for my husband), Via Napoli, Cinderella's Royal Table, California Grill, 'Ohana
5. Special events or tours you might add - Keys to the Kingdom, Inspiration: through Walt's eyes, Backstage Magic, MVMCP, and a Sleigh Ride

1. Split between Bay Lake Tower and Polynesian

2. Early October or early November

3. 10 days

4. BOG, Ohana, San Angel, Tutto Italia, Mama Melrose, 50s Prime Time, Boma, Raglan Road, Kona, Chef Mickeys

5. Food and wine or Halloween party or both!!

1. Resort

I would do some split stays and definitely stay at least one week at a Deluxe, as I haven't done that in years.

2. Time of year

Autumn.

3. Length of stay

Three weeks, with a different hotel for each week.

4. ADRs

I'd probably do the same ADRs I do now. Places like Victoria and Albert's don't interest me much.

5. Special events or tours you might add

I'd love a backstage tour.

My choices are very boring, I know. Mostly, I dream of going to WDW with unlimited spending money. :goodvibes

I would set up camp in Cinderella Castle for 2 weeks and book out CRT as my own private dining room >:-)

Realistically, Poly or GF for 3 weeks with enough tickets to cover the length of stay, staying from November to December and doing both parties and booking ALL the tours. And eating in a fancy TS restaurant every night.

Well since we're talking Pipe Dreams here;

1) 6 nights is all we'd want.
2) We'd do a split stay with the first 2 nights in the Walt Disney Suite in Cinderella's Castle, and the second 4 nights in a Tonga Long house Suite at the Poly.
3) We'd begin our stay either the first Sunday in May, or the first Sunday in November.
4) We eat at our favorite restaurants being:
Narcoosees,
Citricos,
The Flying fish,
Crystal Palace and
try a few new ones like:
Be Our Guest in the MK,
and the Bull and Bear at the Waldorf Astoria

1. Resort
2. Time of year
3. Length of stay
4. ADRs
5. Special events or tours you might add

1. Beach Club, with a nice view of the Boardwalk
2. Latter part of October (this is the Big Dream - but I have an annual seasonal project at work that makes this impossible for now)
3. 7 nights/6 full days
4. Via Napoli and Flying Fish for sure (done both before). A good big breakfast somewhere. And some new places.
5. MNSSHP! (The whole point of wanting to go in October)

1. Resort
2. Time of year
3. Length of stay
4. ADRs
5. Special events or tours you might add

I haven't put much thought into a "dream trip" but I do have a bucket list, so putting several of those items into one trip would be a good dream trip right?

1. Split stay between WL (bunk bed room w/ courtyard view), BC and BW

2. Oct/ Nov

3. about 12 days- long enough to go to both MNSSHP and MVMCP.

4. V&A, HDDR- Category 1, Yatchman's Steakhouse, Brown Derby

5. MNSSHP, MVMCP, VIP Tour of MK, Wishes Dessert Party, Wild Trek Africa, rent a pontoon boat for an afternoon.

1. Resort-Grand Floridian

2. Time of year-October

3. Length of stay-2 weeks...plenty of time for everything.

4. ADRs-Be Our Guest, CRT, Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace

5. Special events or tours you might add- Backstage Magic Tour and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (I have always wanted to do this!)

Dream trip? I'd be greedy and go to every park in Orlando...

1. Resort- hmm. I'd like to say 6 nights at AKL for WDW, 4 nights at Hard Rock hotel for US, 4 nights at a five star hotel on I drive for SeaWorld and I Drive. (We visit all the parks in Orlando.)

2. Time of year - June-September. Gotta be hot or it isn't Florida to me.

3. Length of stay - 14 nights of which 6 at Disney. Maybe 21, if I decided to throw a few more days at each resort onto the times above.

4. ADRs - None tbh. Not my way of touring, and I'm kind of a picky eater. I would however eat soooo many snacks and junk food items and get lots of the more unique (translation: expensive) drinks, especially at Epcot. Snacking around the world?

5. Special events or tours you might add - hmm. Maybe one of those dessert parties I've heard of if they are on when I would go? I'm not sure if I'd do any WDW tours, maybe the one at animal kingdom. (I'd definitely do a couple of the tours at SeaWorld though!)

So there you have it, my perfect Orlando trip, taking in WDW and the other parks. I can only dream of it of course, even just the WDW portion would be too expensive for me for years to come. Budget offsite suite with family it is!

I love this thread idea! For me, I would definitely do 9 nights (Friday to the second Sunday) at the GF in a MK view room inside the RPC (main building with club level). Six days at the theme parks, two days at the water parks, visit to Senses, round of golf, watercraft rental, Cirque du Soliel at DTD, and dinners at V&A's, Narcoossee's, Citricos, Wolfgang Puck Dining Room, Via Napoli, Rose & Crown, Hollywood Brown Derby, Yak & Yeti, California Grill, among others. Also would want to have breakfast in the castle, at 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House, and maybe try out Akershus just for the heck of it, and multiple meals at the GF Cafe! In terms of tours, I'd try the snorkeling and dolphin experiences at Epcot. Oh and I would want to do it all in late April after Easter and since I'', dreaming hoping for no rides to be closed. :goodvibes Maybe one day...

1. Resort: Contemporary club-level suite with Magic Kingdom view. (This is totally not a realistic dream!!)

2. Time of Year: Early November

3. Length of Stay: 2 weeks

4. ADRs: Chef Mickey's, Teppan Edo, Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre, Be Our Guest, Kona Cafe, Crystal Palace, etc. etc. etc. My favorite is Cosmic Ray's of all places, but you don't need an ADR for that. Haha!

5. Christmas Party!! Keys to the Kingdom (for the second time) I'd also want to do: AMC dine-in theatre and Cirque du Soleil.
