If you could only visit 2 parks, which 2 would you choose?

With my family, AK & EPCOT. Or maybe 2 days at the water parks instead.

I would pick MK and DHS. There is so much to do at MK and DHS has my favorite attractions. Also both have great nighttime shows.

I'm an odd duck out, but if we only had two days, I would do Epcot and AK. MK really needs two days imo. If I only had two days, I'd rather have relaxing days immersed in the atmosphere of these two parks. My kids all loved these parks last time. With all the interactive stuff, there is tons to do other than rides. One day at MK would make me feel like we had to try to do many of the rides without time for the relaxed time enjoying the smaller things in the afternoon.

Have to go with Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

Right now, Hollywood Studios is a skeleton of itself. There's a lot of construction and a ton of closures. Once you finish Tower of Terror, RnR and Toy Story Midway Mania, there's not a ton left to do. It's has the weakest restaurants (opinion) and is not really worth the day (right now.)

Animal Kingdom is great - the theming is fantastic and of all the parks, it's probably done the best job of maintaining its roots (no pun intended.) But it's kind of a half-day park. Unless you're an animal lover, there's not a ton to do after going on the safari and Expedition Everest.

Magic Kingdom is fantastic. It's vintage, classic Disney. If you want to experience Disney, you go to Magic Kingdom. The restaurants aren't the greatest, but if you could secure a reservation at BOG, that definitely helps.

EPCOT is great for food. It lacks the rides the other parks have, but it's a really good time. My family loves to eat our way around the countries.

DHS lacks the rides for your kids. It's a thrill-ride park, really. Your 8-year old may enjoy ToT, but your younger ones won't be able to go on. At least EPCOT is a great spot for your kids to learn about culture and a chance for Mom and Dad to enjoy some great food and a drink or two.

I recommend EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. MK has a couple roller coasters if your 8yo is into thrill rides and enough family rides for your entire group to enjoy.

Actually, just reading the opinions and upon further thought, AK may be a great option.

Your kids may really like the animals - making it a lot of fun. It has a few rides and actually has some awesome food. I'd pick between AK OR EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

Skip DHS. I love the park but it's not worth it right now.

Even though HS is my least favorite park we will have a lot to do there on our next trip. My boys are 2 & 4 and are fans of Disney Jr and Mickey mouse club, Jake the pirate, Sofia the first and Doc Mc stuffins, Toy story, which can all be found at HS.
They also enjoy EPCOT Crush, nemo, ride the aquarium, WS kidcot coloring, the water fountains, they loved living with the land on our last trip.
look at your kids interests and see what park will offer the most for them. I'm sure you will have fun no matter what park you end up at.

Thanks for all the replies! Pluto, do you know what all is closed and under construction at HS? This has me worried. Things we definitely wanted to do there was the Disney Jr. show, the Beauty and the Beast Show, probably the Little Mermaid show, character lunch at Hollywood and Vine, and the Stunt Show off the top of my head. Do you know if any of this is effected? TIA.

All of these things are still operating.

We're Star Wars fans, so the two parks we pick for short trips are always DHS and MK.

hey - none of those have been affected (to my knowledge). But that last time I was there was during the Christmas week.

Those are actually all very good shows. If you're going for just the shows, then yes, it may be worth it.

I was speaking from opinion. I've been there so many times that the shows don't really interest me anymore.

If you go, check out the Muppets show as well.

I was speaking more from nostalgia. DHS is and remains my favorite ride, but I'll always miss the backstage tour. For only two days, I'd stick with Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, personally - but being that you stated you're interested in the shows - DHS should be a good option.

MK (classic, never gets old, imho no visit would be complete without it, and it has the most rides, plus lots of cool entertainment), and EP (several good ride opportunities for kids, fabulous & unique entertainment and food).

Backup choice AK.

I'd say between EP and AK it depends on whether you'd rather have the cultural options and Innoventions or the animal options (trails and petting zoo).

Well we snagged a breakfast ADR at Be Our Guest, so now we HAVE to go to MK. Thanks for all the advice! :)

My family has the hardest decision when it comes to this. My heart is with MK...but I love Epcot. My wife would go to MK every day! My son loves AK! Such hard choices...we usually do MK and AK. But being a memeber of DVC at AKL sometimes I wonder why we even go to AK! We have our own animals right in front of us! :)

We just came back with my 7 and 9 year old girls. Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios where their favorites by far.

MK both days, or if you want to add variety, I'd do AK. There's a lot for the kids to do, and the Lion King, Nemo, Camp MinnieMickey, etc appeal to little ones. There's just not that much at EP for small children, except perhaps the Aquarium and the M&G. That said, a lot of walking and they get so tired.
