If you could only rec 1 table service restaurant per park, what would it be?

MK - Skippers Canteen
AK - Tiffins with a stop at Nomad Lounge first
HS - HBD (lately we have been eating at the outside lounge)
Epcot - this is hard because we have a few but I guess #1 would be Spice Road Tables

We haven't been to too many TS but here's our picks with the competition. Bold is the winner.
MK - BOG vs Crystal Palace (both breakfast)
EPCOT - Via Napoli vs San Angel Inn
HS - Mama Melrose vs Sci Fi
AK - Tusker House

If I had to pick my favorite out of all of those, it would be Mama Melrose. The steak and macaroni is my favorite dish.

Interesting! I've tried to tally up the replies just to see what information I got. It looks like Epcot (not surprising) has the most differing opinions, but most mentioned was Garden Grill for breakfast and Via Napoli. Magic Kingdom had Be Our Guest mentioned mostly for meeting the Beast or atmosphere, with other options mentioned based on food-- Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree seemed to be tied. Animal Kingdom was split between Yak and Yeti Restaurant and Tusker House. And for Hollywood Studios SciFi was mentioned a bit more than 50s Prime Time. Thank you to everyone that replied!

DHS - Hollywood Brown Derby (the Cobb Salad is the best)
AK - Yak and Yeti
Epcot - Biergarten (for atmosphere mainly - though the food is ok)
MK - I like the Plaza, my kids like Crystal Palace

Magic Kingdom: If I had 2 dining credits, I would book CRT.
For 1 dining credit, would Chef Mickey's count?
EPCOT: If I had 2 dining credits, Le Cellier!
Hollywood Studiios: Definately 50s Primetime Cafe!
Animal Kingdom: Definately Tusker House.

We are vegetarians, so YMMV, but our current picks are:

MK: none (we hope on the Monorail and go to The Wave at CR)
Epcot: Via Napoli/La Hacienda de San Angel
HS: Mama Melrose
AK: none (we drive over to AKL and eat at Sanaa)

FWIW, our answers would've been different 5 or 10 years ago...menus change fairly often, and it may not actually be true, but it seems like when we find a favorite dish somewhere it's doomed to be discontinued, lol.

Also...our family no longer eats at buffets. On a trip to Las Vegas about 5-7 years ago, there was a norovirus outbreak whose source was identified as the buffet at the Hard Rock Hotel. As you can imagine, given how many people travel up and down the strip for food/entertainment, it spread from there. DH and I were at the Four Seasons for what was supposed to be a romantic anniversary trip, and we ate at the buffet at the Wynn. I got sick but he didn't. I have never been sicker or more miserable in my life than I was when I caught norovirus...couldn't leave the hotel room for the entire trip (we ate at the Wynn the first day), couldn't get on the plane to go home, and had to use the hotel doctor to give me a shot to ease the symptoms so I could survive the (delayed) plane ride...then was still miserably sick for 4 days afterward. From that day forward, I've sworn off buffets. I know it's irrational, but I just can't do it...maybe someday I'll get over it, because I've heard that Tusker House has a fabulous buffet for vegetarians and I'd love to try it! Maybe in another decade or so the symptoms will be erased from my mind and I'll be able to try one again...

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace
Epcot - Via Napoli (this was near impossible to choose just one)
Hollywood - Sci-Fi, which is actually the top out of all 4 parks
Animal Kingdom - Tusker House (though I haven't been to Pandora yet!)

MK - Jungle Skipper (Kungaloosh!!)
Epcot - Via Napoli
HS - Brown Derby for lunch
AK - Tiffins (best TS on property IMHO)

Biergarten for Epcot.

Sci-Fi for HS

I don't care for any of the sit downs in MK

Same goes for AK. We do QS there.

MK- For me this park is a bit of a food wasteland. I am thinking seriously about trying Skipper's Canteen next trip. In the past we've eaten @ Tortuga's sharing a turkey leg and green salad.

AK- I've heard good of Tiffin's and Yak and Yeti for a long time. So far I've only eaten @ Flaming Tree BBQ.

Epcot- Many choices; pick your fav cuisine and eat. Personal favs: Rose and Crown, Tokyo Dining, Via Napoli, Marrakesh.

HS- BD is our favorite whether lounge or restaurant. Some of our party enjoyed The Commissary, the rest of us just rested our feet as they ate.
