If you could only pick one character breakfast which would you choose?

We are going to do one princess breakfast for dd, so I need one more breakfast idea that will suit both kids (dd almost 4, ds almost 10). Any ideas? I hear a lot about Ohana, but is that the best, and if so, why do you think so? BTW, if you would recommend another character meal besides breakfast that would be better, please advise. We already have CP for lunch. Thanks. Oh yeah, we did Chef Mickey last time, so I think I want to try something different this time.

Cape May has awesome food and the best character interaction. Killer bread pudding and the best fresh fruit...tons to choose from.

Crystal Palace...love the puffed french toast, made to order omelets and, of course, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore! :)

I'm surprising my DD5 with breakfast at Ohana while her brother does the segway tour. She is a big Stich fan, so I'm sure she'll love it. One of the reasons I like it is that they bring the food to you. I don't have to worry about missing the characters while I'm up getting my food or helping DD with hers. We can just relax and enjoy.

For a non-breakfast suggestion, the Garden Grill in Epcot has great character interaction, the restaurant rotates, and Chip and Dale can be pretty funny. I don't know if you are on the DDP (we are), so we tend to do dinners to maximize the value of the plan.

Hope you have a great trip.:)

Ditto, and afterwards you could walk to Epcot, its lovely walking through the Worldshowcase part when its nearly empty.

We loved Ohanas with Stitch. DD held his hand during the parade and he is such a hoot. I liked it being family plate so I didnt have to drag her around trying to get her to pick food while she is worried she will miss a character.

we had great character interaction at cape may. not so good at crystal palace.

Tusker House at AK with Donald Duck :donald: I don't stalk Donald, really I don't, he just happens to be at the same place at the same time I am!

Love 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! We do it every trip because it's unique in many ways. First off, honestly there aren't that many non-buffet Character meals so this one stands out. If you like buffets then more power to you, but 'Ohana's is a pleasant break from them. Also, the characters there are a unique combo. You have the newer characters (Lilo & Stitch) and classic Disney characters (Pluto & Mickey). Seeing Mickey in his Hawaiian print shirt always makes me smile too. The view is great at 'Ohana's! There are tons of windows and if you look out, you can see across the seven seas lagoon and see Cinderella's Castle. What a great way to start the day!

Crystal Palace breakfast is a must for us -- we always start our trip out there on the first morning. We can get bagels and smoked salmon, plus the puffed French toast and breakfast lasagna are TDF.

Crystal Palace!! When I was a kid, we could have cared less about the food, it was all about the experience. CP seemed soooo fancy.

Cape May has been a traditional breakfast for my wife and me. Cape May has a nice atmosphere, a great selection of food, and a fantastic bread pudding.

Crystal Palace is hands down our favorite, all three meals. However, if you can snag an early breakfast ADR you can get into the park early and get some great pictures of your kids in front of the castle or walking down mainstreet with the castle in the background with no one else in them.

If you want a variety of characters 1900 Park Fare is good. You get Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.

FYI: The only character meal we will never repeat is the Stitch breakfast at O'hana. We had a really bad experience there. Our skillet came out cold, the waitress took it back, but then forgot us, we asked another server to go find her, but she didn't return until we'd been there a little over an hour, then had the nerve to ask us if we wanted anything else (yeah, how about something beside bread and a small saucer of fruit and a refill on our juice). Stitch had missed us and we had to send someone after him. When he came by, he was in a really big hurry and when my grandaughter tried to stand up he literally pushed her back down in the chair, held her down by pushing his hands down in her shoulders, and was just there long enough for me to snap a quick picture before he took off again. I called out, 'wait I want a picture of both of us with you", he just waved and kept on walking. By the time our waitress showed up and asked if we wanted anything else we were angry and just reminded her we never did get our skillet. Her response was, 'Oh sorry, I thought someone else brought it'. We were so disgusted we just asked for our ticket, left, and went to Magic Kingdom to get something at the bakery, as we were both still hungry. The final kicker was that that horrible waitress then charged us full price for the meal we never got. My GD begged me to not create a scene and said she just wanted to get out of there. We won't be back to O'hana's.
