which would it be? Due to budget, we are looking at only 1 dinner at Disney, paid for with Disney dollars, when we go in a month! The only place we've been before on-site (other than a couple of counter service) was Chef Mickey's Breakfast. We have 3 kids and want a dinner that tastes good in a "cool" enviornment.

Any suggestions? Thanks!! :goodvibes

Boma at AKL is my favorite. A nice buffett at an amazing resort.

DW would choose Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot. The cheddar cheese soup & bread sticks are delicious!

For kids I would recommend Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. We have been here for breakfast many times and have always had a great experience. We LOVE the food here. The characters are Pooh and friends.
IF you are on a budget, breakfast is less expensive. Plus it is a set price, so you know what to expect for the bill even before you dine here.

Just my opinion.

Oops, just reread original post, sorry you wanted a dinner recommendation.
Never had dinner at Crystal Palace but have heard very good things about it, we just love the breakfast so we always stick with that.

For dinner, we like Ohana's at the Polynesian (again, set price)

Good luck in your decision.

I agree with Boma. Head over to AKL lodge, the self parking is very convenient. The buffet is the top buffet on disney property. You can spend time before and after, checking out the animals on the savannah and the great displays in the lobby (it's like a small museum).

AKL is fantastic!

With kids, I would say Crystal Palace (we've only done breakfast, but have read that the dinner is very good). Love seeing Pooh and friends.

Thanks for the reviews!! :) I know breakfast is cheaper, but since we are staying at a townhouse, we figure we can make breakfast there each morning so we can "splurge" on a dinner. Thank you for narrowing my choices down, since I don't know much about any of them, the list was pretty overwhelming! The problem is, they all look so good!

Is the BOMA food something that even picky eaters would be able to find something to eat? My little guys are not very adventurous!

you can't go by that menu. It changes every day and the discriptions sound goofier than they really are. There is a kiddie station with chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, mac and cheese and french fries.
They usually always have prime rib. You have to try the african sauces on the side. Even the ketchup is delicious.
The soups are to die for!
And my life would not be the same without the zebra domes!

I enjoyed Boma, but my 6 year old enjoyed Crystal Palace more. We also really enjoyed Sci Fi.:) Cool atmosphere for kids.

I would choose the coral reef. Both the food and atmosphere are great. Have fun in selecting where to eat.:)
