If you Could only have ONE meal at disney?

I am paring back some of our ADRs and rearranging some of our schedules - if you could have only ONE meal at WDW - what would it be?

If you could truly only have one meal at WDW, ever, then there is no single place that will capture the spirit of the Magic Kingdom and a vacation in Disney World in general like eating at Cinderella's Castle. It's the centerpiece of the park... it's everything every kid grows up watching movies about -- this or that castle, the knights, the princesses, etc... and here you get to go eat at Cinderella's Castle itself. With full complement of princesses, wands, swords, photo-ops, views of the MK, etc.

There were many other good ones mentioned above! But none of them encapsulate so much about the MK that if you could only visit one - ever - it would have to be that one.

If you have to cut back - I would first cut out any place you've been to before in favor of experiencing something new. No matter how great it was the first time. Time to find the next great!

Good point. Though not my favorite it is probably the one must do. I will say not as bad as a lot of the reviews on it.

without a doubt -

Breakfast - Tusker House (AK)

Lunch - Crystal Palace (MK) can't beat their citrus marinated flank steak!

Dinner - TIE - Whispering Canyon Cafe (WL) or Biergarten (EP)

It's funny how everyone's opinions vary. Because we have eaten at CRT, and there is no way I ever intend on doing it again, and I never recommend it to anyone going. We just don't get it. :confused3

lol - we have some of the ones you guys have mentioned:
'Ohana - dinner
Chef Mickey - Dinner
Cinderella Table - Lunch
Brown Derby - late Lunch
Tusker House - Lunch
Plaza - Early Dinner
Teppan Edo - Late Lunch
Crystal Palace - breakfast (hopefully early enough to enjoy the quiet before park opens)
1900 Park - Dinner

but I am now realizing that 'ohana is a two credit meal as well as CRT, HBD, TE (CPP Package)
so trying to figure out how to do this as we only have 8 TS credits

San Angel Inn, table for 4 by the railing in the middle (we actually got this seat!!), the appetizers Tostadas Del Tinga and Caesar Salad, and the Chocolate Mousse for dessert.

that's what I thought originally and then i read somewhere that it was 2 - do you know where I can confirm this?

maybe I should just call

If you look it up on the Disney site and click on the dinning plan icon it will show how many table credits it requires. In the case of Ohana, its 1 credit for breakfast or dinner.

I can't believe I never see dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. My husband is a real meat and potatoes kind of guy and just loved it. It is family style all you can eat. We had so much meat left over and my husband loved it so much the server let us take it back to our room as long as we promised to go back to the hotel soon after leaving the restaurant. My husband ate it for breakfast the next morning he loved it so much.

our disney dining experiences is something we're looking forward to most. i have reservations booked at the following places:

breakfasts:
- ohana
- cape may
- chef mickey's (which i might cancel because i'm hearing it is a lengthy event)
- tusker house

lunches:
- akershus (which i am SO excited for! princess geek in me.)
- mama melrose's fantasmic dinner pkg (i'm HIGHLY contemplating whether to keep this reservation. we are going to be there on dec 8th - i'm not sure how necessary a vip seating will actually be. the fact of the matter is that there are other restaurants we'd prefer over MM. there are a couple of counter services places in HS that my kids would really enjoy.)
- rainforest cafe (DTD on a non-park day.)

suppers:
- hollywood brown derby
- crystal palace
- coral reef (i'm reconsidering this. as much as we adults would enjoy the cuisine, my kids are animal lovers with very tender little hearts. i'm not sure that they'd willingly eat seafood while watching fishies swim by without crying, lol.)
- boma
- hoop dee doo revue (the kids are going to go bezerk over this.)

a few notes. my girls would absolutely love whispering canyon, so i'm considering dropping something in favor of this. also, sci fi is a top pick for the nifty experience alone but i can't get a reservation at a decent time. if something comes up, i'll be dropping one of the other restaurants to accommodate our first choices. i'd really love to experience lunch at be our guest, but it sounds as though it is hell to get in, and we are going to akershus for our fill of princesses anyway.

we have a deluxe plan with plenty of snacks, most of which we won't be using. i'm sure the kids will dig into theirs, but my husband and i are planning on using ours on things like packages of nuts and similar nonperishables because we have a three-day drive back home to canada and the snacks would come in handy so we aren't making as many fast food stops.

...s -if you could have only ONE meal at WDW - what would it be?

Before our last trip, I would have said The Beach Breakfast Buffet at Cape May Cafe. It has wonderful food, a huge selection, and good character interaction (usually) It's not as hectic as Chef Mickey's, and seems like a lot brighter and lighter decor.
Now, however, my one meal might just be at Sanaa. We ate here for dinner August last, and actually debated going back for lunch - which for us, is unheard of. When I started to plan for this trip, the first thing DH said was "Sanaa? Lunch ?"
