If you could live anywhere........

As much as I hate the cold, I really love where I live?
It's clean, great neighbourhoods, beautiful small town feel yet I am 25 minutes from Toronto and I feel safe here. I love my life and my friends and am grateful every day for what I have.

If money were no object, I would have a home in London and perhaps France too...but alas, it is!

:wave2:

:earsboy:

Orlando...to be close to WDW and still have a lot of other choices for things to do.

However, I was in Hurricane Charley in 2004 and with all of the recent storms in the south, I'm pretty happy here in NY. Besides, I'm only an hour away from NYC and Yankee Stadium.

Somewhere in NW Florida, close enough to the beaches, but still with a rural/small town feel to it. Tallahassee would be nice again...it's not a small town but within a half hour of driving you're in the country. :) Plus it's not too far from WDW!

Seward, Alaska! Can't wait to retire there! It will be awhile, though.

Shelburne or Burlington, Vermont...smack dab between the Adirondacks of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont...right on Lake Champlain. Ahhh, it would be heavenly.... :cloud9:

Sleepy Hollow NY hands down! We just visited this weekend and we just love it. Not just for the Halloween feel, it is just so beautiful. I also love Salem Mass, and alot of Maine is beautiful.

If I win the lottery:
A house in Mammoth, California near Warming Hut II
An end of terrace Mews in Chelsea, London (with a garden)
And an olive farm in Umbria Italy

Now if I just can get the right 6 numbers……. :rolleyes1

That's too funny :rotfl: We lived in Sugar Hill, but was in Duluth all the time because DD Ice Skated at the Forum. I really liked it in that area and we do miss it! We moved right after the Runaway Bride..... :teeth:
I guess as always, the grass is always greener on the other side ;)

I hope I never see that witch in public. I knew the Mason family (the medical side...not the political side) and Daddy Mason must be rolling in his grave. I know if I see her I am going to jail for assault!

Hey...I work at Suwanee Police Department (traffic enforcement a specialty) between Duluth and Sugar Hill...how funny is that...plus I drive past the Forum every day to work! Will wave for you on Wednesday!

I would say it would come down between Celebration, FL or Myrtle Beach, SC. DW and I had come close to actually having to make this decision earlier this year. A possible job relocation would have made us make this decision.

For me, I would chose Monterey, CA. The golf gods of Pebble Beach are calling my name!!! :rotfl2:

Hmmm....well....

I love where I live now. I didn't up until a few years ago - I wanted FL or TX. But, after visiting - I couldn't do it. Great to visit NO to live...

So - top five -

1) Here (Twin Cities)...great schools, great people, nice weather.
2) Duluth, MN - again, good schools, BEAUTIFUL scenery.
3) Seattle - never been but looks so pretty, and my family is there and they love it.
4) Alaska - love the scenery
5) Chicago - cool town.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Oh - I forgot about CA!

Hmmm...might have to add San Francisco and Monterray into the mix. Best vacation of my life to No. Cali..
