What would it be?

I am leaving for Europe in 9 days... I'd like to have some tips from those who know the score:)

So what's your BEST tip?

this is a very tricky one as i have so many tips.
i would say though that it's better to try things for yourself than let someone put you off (ie. the food's no good in x or y ride is too scary).
have a great time! we just got back today after 10 days in dlp. it was fabulous.

The best tip I think is to use EMH if entitled to them. Its worth getting up early to get a few rides done before the crowds build up.

Apart from that Id say just enjoy it.

My best tip for an Canadian (who may be used to the US parks) is to not compare it to the American parks. Try and enjoy the little details of the Disneyland park, it really is beautiful.

Other than that, use FastPass well, try and do the busy rides (Peter Pan, Thunder Mountain, Crush's Coaster) first thing, the lines quickly build for these attractions.

My top tip would be go and have a fabulous time just do all that you want to do and enjoy every minute of it.

Take lots of thick clothes to keep you warm though.

Have a fabulous time as i see you are going to a number of great places.

We will be in DLP from the 26th and cant wait.

Have a great time

Lisa

Take your time to really savour the park. :goodvibes Paris's Disneyland is the Imagineer's dream come true ~ it really is a beautifully designed park. :cloud9:

The dragon under the Castle is also unique to DLRP so please try to find time to visit him, also the stained glass windows telling the story of Sleeping Beauty upstairs in the Castle.

Exactly what I was going to say. Put aside all of the negative things that you may have read and make up your own mind. Don't look at things in comparison to what you are used to, but appreciate them for their uniqueness.

Embrace the things that are different from home and enjoy those differences.

That holds true for any type of travel, in my mind.

Thanks everyone, I really intend to have a wonderful time, we have no particular itinerary or even meals in mind, so we will just make our way around and take one day at a time.

I have lots of warm clothes to layer - as I am looking at the extended 15 day forecast which is calling for -7 and snow!?! hopefully that is totally wrong.

Can you tell me about the dragon at the castle, is it an attraction? or a feature? does something happen there or is it just something to see?

The dragon is a large animatronic. It roars every couple of minutes. It's quite entertaining, though scary to little children (it's in a very dark cave).

It's more something to see rather than a proper attraction, though it's fun to see as it's unique to Paris.

Hope you enjoy your trip, Cairo and Rome are very cool places to visit!

Thanks for all the info, :) My DD will love the dragon~!

I will be more than happy to show you where the dragon is, it really is worth going to see.

Also if you have any other questions that you think of before you get I'll try to help.

Looking forward to our meeting on the 4th.

See you there......

We always go in to see the Dragon, it's a must do, although my niece is adamant that she doesn't want to, so we'll have to meet up around the other side.

Hope you have a wonderful magical trip Cass.
