I arrive well before the rest of my party. Without going into a park, which on property restaurant would you most like to go to for lunch and why ( food, ambiance, both etc).
TIA!
I'm a second for Kona Cafe at the Poly. For many of our trips, we start out with a monorail loop, and walking around the Poly and having a meal (plus a dole whip from pineapple lanai!) always kicks our trips off right! I love that you can see a glimpse of the castle, too!
If you have time to take the boat or bus, I second Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge. If not, consider the Boathouse at Disney Springs. Good lower cost lunch apps or entrees.
Depending on where we are - Raglan Road (no Irish music or dancing at lunch, but great food), Steakhouse 71 (love their mac and cheese and close to MK), and Geyser Point (somewhat limited menu - crab cakes are great - but wonderful atmosphere). In Epcot we love the food shops in France for quiche and decadent ice cream.
I guess it would depend on which resort we were staying at.
I’d probably do somewhere easy to accesss from there.
If we were on the monorail loop I’d probably go to Steakhouse 71 for a burger.
If we were staying at an EP resort I’d go to Ale and Compass for the Parker House rolls and spreads or take the skyliner to Riviera Resort and have lunch at Primo Piatto for a Prosciutto Baguette or a Ham & Brie Baguette.
Otherwise, maybe go to AKL to the Sanna Lounge for the Bread service and the Salad Sampler.
