If you could do one character meal...

what would you choose. DD is 5 and loves princesses and her favourite show is Mickey Mouse Club House. Which restaurant and what meal? And what would the cost be for 2 adults, 1 child and an under 2?

Oh - and another? If the meal ends at 10:30 is that when the characters leave? There are a few places with late res. times (10:20 with a 10:30 end) and I'm just wondering if the characters would still be there or do they leave at 10:30?

We did CRT and it was good. We loved the breakfast food and we saw Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Belle and Aurora. The only thing I was disappointed in was the interaction with Cinderella. She is dd's favorite princess and was rushed through the pictures with her and we didn't see her again

However, Tusker House was our favorite!!! The food was wonderful , character interaction was great and it was a great price. We saw Donald, Daisy, Minnie, and Goofy. The kids 8 and 6 had a blast and still talk about it.

We have a little one that loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse too. We are planning on Mickey's Best Friends Breakfast at 'Ohana. Lilo and Stitch are there too with Mickey and Pluto! We have never eaten there yet, but I've read a lot of good reviews about it.

stay until each guest has had a chance to interact with them. We've done this at CM breakfast and will be doing a late breakfast (11:15 ADR with last ADR around 11:30) on the upcoming trip.

Cinderella's Royal Table is great for princesses and you get to eat in the castle for lunch it is only a few $'s more than Akershus in Norway in Epcot which I highly recommend as well. Both are great.

We have done CRT, 1900 Park Fair, Chef Mickeys, Cape May Cafe, and Akershus (Norway).

While we enjoyed them all when our children were your daughter's age, one of our favorites was breakfast at Akershus in Norway for the princesses. It is a pretty place and not quite as loud/chaotic as some of the others. I think they also have lunch and dinner.

Chef Mickeys has a number of characters including Mickey.

Cape May Cafe at the Beachclub has a number of characters but Minnie not Mickey. Characters only at breakfast.

1900 is Cinderella theme. It was a rather crowded and confusing place when we went a number of years ago. Maybe it has changed.

CRT is quite an experience too but more expensive then the others.

You can get the menus and pricing on the disney world web site under dining. Look under each restaurant and many of the menus and pricing are available. As far as the characters, they should be there through your dining experience. Speak to your server when you arrive and make sure that she/he sees to it that you see all the characters listed to be there.

Enjoy your planning. I'm sure your daughter will love whatever you plan. There is nothing like a five year old girl and all the princesses. Such a fun time. My daughter was absolutely taken with them all!! I miss those days!!!

For a 5 year old little girl, I would without a doubt choose Askersus at Epcot. It is a wonderful princess experience and is less expensive than CRT. We have breakfast there on every single one of our disney trips.

I would recommend:

1. Akershus breakfast (princesses) -- latest available ADR (I think 11:00ish) -- around $110-115 plus tip for 2 adults/1 child

2. Chef Mickey's breakfast (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald) -- latest available ADR (around 11:30) -- around $70-75 plus tip for 2 adults/1 child

We have always received the best character interaction at the late seatings. Plus, it's more like brunch than breakfast so we are good and hungry by then.

Akershus we'd do on our Epcot day. Chef M's we'd either do on a day we were at MK, or more likely on a sleep-in/break day mid-trip.

If you're going when seasonal price increases are in effect, the cost may be higher. Maybe someone who knows more about that can chime in.

Another vote for O'hana breakfast with Lilo & Stitch, Mickey & Pluto - the food was awesome! We also had decent character interaction there.

We did CRT during our last trip. The whole experience was very rushed, and really not worth the money in my opinion. Our interaction with Cinderella was rushed, and each princess stopped at our table for only a minute or two - just long enough to sign autograph books and pose for a picture. We also felt rushed by our server. I think next time we'll just stand in line to meet the princesses in the park.

This is so true! I had to take dd to the bathroom during lion king and we found all the characters just standing there all by themselves!! It was unbelievable! We went to see mickey and minnie came over to interact also. I have photopass pix of the two of them dancing with my dd. It was a hoot.

I have heard breakfast at CP is better. We were scheduled to do breakfast there once, but had to cancel b/c DS came down with a stomach virus. I'll have to try again for our upcoming trip!

We loved 1900 Park Fare character meal with Cindy, Prince, Stepmother and Stepsisters. The sisters were the BEST, and the buffet for us was a better deal than the castle.

We have done every character meal in Disney so rather than ask myself I asked my DD7. She's a huge fan, loves the mouse, is princess through and through. When I told her just one she said the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at 'Ohana. This was a huge relief because that was one of my favorities too.

A couple others that our family enjoyed was breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House breakfast with Donald and friends, and 1900 Park Fare. I give credit to 1900 Park Fare turning my daughter into a princess nut because of the VIP treatment they gave her when she was 18 months old. One kiss from Cindy and she never looked back.

Based off your family's interests you may want to visit the meal over at Hollywood and Vine. They have Playhouse Disney characters (I think). We haven't been since 2008 but my daughter loved meeting the folks from Little Einsteins and Goliath.

I think regardless of what you pick you're going to come out a winner.

My vote would be for Doanld's Safari breakfast at Tusker House in AK. We went there for the first time when my DD was 5 and she loved it!! Really good food and the character interaction was great....they came by our table twice and they got to sing and dance with Goofy. I think it is prefect for a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan.

She may enjoy seeing Mickey if she is into mickey mouse club house and I would really suggest Tusker house in AK. The interaction is very good and the food is really very very good.
