Thank you everyone for all these replies. We willb e traveling to DL next May with a 5.5 year old and a 3.5 year old and it has helped a lot by reading these reviews. I'm still up in the air where to stay though.

So how do you get the Entertainment rate, BillyFan??? That's an amazing rate!

I called the hotel directly and requested the Entertainment rate. Then I had to go online and purchase the entertainment book. It was totally worth it,a nd we've already used a few of the coupons in the book.

You do not have to get the one for OC. The hotel discounts are national and are, as far as I know, in all of the books.

That is great. Thanks, I know it would be worth it just for the hotel discount at hojo but if I did get the Orange Co. one are there coupons for things around dl?
We live in a very rural area so none of them really apply to us but the one for our state is half the price of the OC one.

Just stayed at Carousel Inn and it will be my regular from now on.We liked the hard wood floors of the newly renovated rooms,easy walking distance.I see a lot of fans of hojo on here but i consider it just out of walking distance.
It is walking distance first thing in the morning but not coming home.
