If you could add a WS country?

A recent thread had people talking cool new countries for World Showcase. I turned it into a poll with some of the more talked about choices.

Tough choices, but I went with Australia. However, any of them would be an ideal addition to the World Showcase.

I voted for Greece for the historical/cultural opportunities for the pavilion, but Russia would also be a great choice for the same reason (and Spain would be nice for the restaurant!)

Another vote for Australia. I think it is so unlike anything else there, I've always dreamed of going to Australia.

I think Australia would make a great addition to Animal Kingdom, so I voted for Switzerland--would love to see a Matterhorn ride there and the gingerbread buildings and maybe waterfalls.

My sons gf is from Russia (well actually she would state right now "I'm American"!! she came to US at 7yr and her family all are American Citizens)

She couldnt believe the "world" showcase didnt have Russia, and when you think of the continents and the size of Russia - Russia should have representation!!

Egypt - Africa, Morrocco
Ireland - England
Australia - its at least represented at F&W!!
(I forgot the other choices!!)

I cant see Australia being a good addition or the WS, but would be very good to AK, also I think that all off South America should be at AK, but thats off topic. I voted for greece, but Russia would be very good too. As for Ireland, I cant really see that being nearly in demand in comparison to all that Greece and Russia has brought to the world.

I would say Ireland. Australia would be good too, but I think it would make more scence if they put it at AK.

To me Ireland is not different enough from the UK. There is nothing like India or even Brazil at WS.

I voted Egypt but that's because Italy wasn't on the list! I think it would be cool if they had a mini-Rome or Venice....with the Cistine Chapel....that would be awesome, IMO

Yeah Im an idiot.....i realized last night when i got home from my LONG day at work that there already is an Italy....last year when my BF and I went, we missed it so I didn't remember it....but then last night I was looking at the pictures from a couple years ago and I felt like a moron when I saw the Italy pictures. Sorry for my moment of ignorance....

I picked Australia because it seemed so very different from anything Disney has. Also, I think the food will go over well. Hey, I like the idea of all of them!
