I really enjoy the moments on the bus (we go off peak so not real crowded) in the early morning. The coolness of the air conditioner and thinking about the day ahead and what I'll do. Over-hearing the other children and children-at-heart talking about what they will do. I recall these British children singing this silly song on the way to Epcot and DH and I still mutter it and chuckle whenever we arrive at Epcot.
I guess the rest of the trip is so fast paced I like the stillness on the bus. I'm just sitting still and thinking and taking it all in.
It's 3:30pm on Sunday. As, Sunday is our 1st full day at WDW, I must be going into the preshow area for Haunted Mansion. A quick ride with a friendly ghost before finding my spot for the Afternoon parade.
Let's see - Heading from Peco's Bill's (where we watched the parade) toward Liberty Square - it's about 30 mins past "official" closing and the streets are just about empty. I love this time at the park. Another wonderful day at MK has ended. We are tired and content.
I'm jsut walking onto Main St. U.S.A. and the background music is playing and I can smell the vanellia from the icecream shop, and infront of me is Cinderella's Castle thinking "yes! im finally here again"
and I'm Walking down Sun Set Blvd. in MGM jumping up in down because im going to get on Tower OF terror and RNR and ride them both over and over again and then go watch Fantasmic.
Right now, me and my boyfreind are sitting on our deck at the Contemporary Resort facing the MK after it's closed, sipping champagne and watching the castle change colors...
We're at the Animal Kingdom. It's about 45 minutes until closing time and the park is clearing out. We are walking around the base of the Tree of Life and looking at all of the extraordinary figures "carved" into it. It's quiet and very peaceful.
It's raining like crazy here in NY so right now I feel like I'd be shopping at The Art Of Disney in Downtown Disney, then go get a quick bite at Wolfgang Puck Xpress!
