Yes, I did make an effort to look at other posts, but I am still unsure. I bought from Ticketmania a 7 Day +4 options + 1 day Disney Quest all on one ticket. Ticketmania was running a special.

I still have left: 5 days +3 options + 1 day Disney Quest left on the tickets. Can I upgrade these to the MYW 10 day + 5 Options?

Or betteryet, can Disney answer this question over the phone? Does anyone have a number?

Thanks from snowy - AGAIN - New England.

(7 day pass, 2 days used) You won't find out the trade up value for sure until after you get to Disney. The trade-up value is at most 5/7'th (71%) of what you bought the pass for, maybe less if Disney still credits you based on the cost to the wholesaler (Ticektmania) not the cost to you.

All I can suggest is, after the ticket agent tells you the trade up value, don't do the trade up instantly but instead take back the ticket, step out of line, thihk about it, and crunch some more numbers on the back of an envelope.

Do you foresee yet another trip further off in the future that you need 5 or fewer days (or 6 or 7 with some days spent only in water parks)? If so, save it for then. You'll never get a new pass for that trip as cheaply as the trade in value you might get now.

Other things you can do, buy a new 7 or 10 day ticket without hopping and with non-expiration. On days you want to park hop, carry just the old ticket. On days you plan to spend in one park, carry just the new ticket. Yet another choice with some flexibility limits, buy a new expiring ticket with no plusses (options), use the old ticket for Disney Quest, etc. Not recommended: Using up the old ticket now and also buying a new 3 or so day ticket.

Disney's number: 407 WDISNEY (934-7639). I hate waiting on hold.

The only way you will know for sure the value of your ticket is to have it scanned at WDW, either where they sell the tickets, or Guest Relations (the Guest Services in the resorts cannot do this for you nor can you do it over the phone).
Hope that helps!:goodvibes:

Disney will give you a prorated credit that is based on the price that DISNEY sold the ticket for, so you would lose out on any markup.

You can call Disney and ask, but the important thing in this instance is that value of the ticket, and you'll only be able to find that out at Walt Disney World.

I can almost guarantee that the monetary value of the ticket isn't much. If it's more than a year old, it's probably even MORESO less. Coupled with the fact that those plus options (and the DisneyQuest admission) bear no value when you try to get the credit, you really probably would be doing better financially to use the ticket as it is, and buy an advance purchase 5 day Magic Your Way. (I say the 5 day because you wanted 10 admission days altogether). You would then have 10 days of admission, SIX plus options, instead of 5, and an extra DisneyQuest admission.
