So you just give them your old email and they can look it up that way? Interesting. I'll have to try it.
I signed up on the disneyworld.com website a few days ago and got a code in my email inbox, it was in the junk mail so make sure you scan that also.
Yes, be sure to have them check old mailing addresses as well and also if your name changed have them check under the old name as well. I would strongly recommend a travel agent as they can get to this info, esp. if you give them all of your old information and they don't charge you anything, Disney just gives them a commission, but a good travel agent will work hard to find the best possible deal for you. My travel agent found my pin code once I gave her the info she needed to find it, unfortunately it is only good fr trips in Feb. and Mar. and we are planning our trip in August, but the discount is good enough that we are considering a trip in Feb./Mar. now as well. On a weekend trip alone we could save up to about $500.So you just give them your old email and they can look it up that way? Interesting. I'll have to try it.
Basically they are codes that are sent to you via email or postal mail that give you a deep discount on rooms and sometimes packages. What are these codes you are talking about? I have a trip planned feb 10-12.
Thanks for your help!

Well, I did receive the 40% off mailer, but I am going to call and tell them I am interested in visiting and just inquire about resort prices and availability and ask about discounts and offers before I book anything. I am just going to tell them I am trying to get a ballpark figure so I know what I can afford and how long and where I will be able to stay. I am hoping to see if they offer me the same discount as the mailer or perhaps something different or maybe nothing at all.

Keep calling back!![]()
Like any other profession, you get great happy people, or burned out loosers-
if you get someone nasty, try get their name, call back have another rep help you and tell them the other reps name.
We pay too much for trips to be treated like crap!
I worked in reservations, the hours are long, crappy pay, but after a while I new it was time to say bye bye-some people get in a rut and don't know how to leave.......lol![]()
I tried for two days to get something for my sis in law for Feb school vacation-I finally got all but one day for her today........persistance and patience.........all with a discount...........it pays to be persistant!!!
Enjoy your trips!![]()

I have not received any of the mailers or codes that you guys talk about. Boy, how I wish I had. Smokeydiamond if you do call will you let us all know how it pans out for you? I would love to take my daughter in December for her b-day and am thinking of just calling CRO up like all of you do and asking about codes on my name or whtaever you call it. I just feel so weird and nervous that they will be like WHAT are you talking about lady???
don't wait to apply that resident rate, they can always tell you that it is NOT available...they only have so many rooms at that rate & if the amount of rooms are taken, even though you have a ressie, the cannot apply that rate. I would not hold my breath waiting to see if anything better comes out, you will end up paying the higher price. Most of the time the resident & AP rates are the lowest...I will definately let you all know. I am going to call Monday. I did get a nice figure from disneyworld.com. 3 nights at POR standard view $624.42 and if I apply my FL resident code it would come to $441.42. I am wanting to see if they can beat that.

Good point. I also have the PIN code mailer for 40% off which if I am doing the math right is about the same as the FL resident rate. I think those rooms may be the same availability though.
