I came across a great group called "The Doomed Dogs Rescue Club". They pull their resources to rescue dogs.........Take a look!

Another great group on Facebook is Gentle Giants Inc in NJ (not CA). They are a non-profit who specializes in senior, handicapped, and disabled giant breed dogs. Their website is gentlegiantsinc.org.
