If you are going in October double check your rates

Refunds to credit card accounts on canceled reservations can take up to two billing cycles. So you could possibly be waiting two months for that refund.

I have never had this happen on any charge back on any hotel reservation, let alone Disney. I can only speak from personal experience and what the CM at Central Reservations told me. If you are waiting for the paper bill then it may appear to take that long but if you check your CC acct on line it will be more representative of when the charge back was posted.

I said it can take up to two billing cycles. That is what the CM's are supposed to tell you. It might only take five days but if they tell people it takes five days and it takes longer than they have angry people calling them wondering where their refund is.
Yes, I'm talking about the paper bill. If a reservation is canceled the day before the end of your billing cycle then you won't see that credit on your next bill. You have to wait until the following month to see it. There are still a few people who don't check their credit card accounts online.

sorry - I hadn't been back over here in a couple of days. You were not being ignored!

When I called they told me I have the lowest rate available. I do not have my AP yet so I can't check my rates online. I'm staying at BWI Oct 8-12 AP rate with dining 1715.96 and CSR Oct 12-15 AP rate with dining 727.87. Is there a different rate for my time? TIA!!

If you have already purchased your AP, but do not have the voucher yet, you can call Disney to receive the voucher number over the phone. :) I purchased my AP online and called Disney right away. Within minutes I had my new voucher number. :goodvibes

Who did you call to get the voucher number? Can you purchase a DDE before arrival as well?

Thank you. I hadn't thought about the effective date aspect, but that makes perfect sense.

Has anyone gotten a room only AP rate at a deluxe? I would really like to upgrade to the Poly.

I keep checking the website - daily - I sometimes find something at the Poly (at a rate I am unwilling to pay). Still haven't seen the Contemp for my dates at ALL. Keep checking. Of course, it all depends on your dates, too!

You're welcome. We actually didn't even purchase our AP until we got there. YOu have to go to Guest Relations any way. Our thought was that if for any reason we couldn't go, we didn't want to put out almost $1,000. To purchase the DDE takes a minute or two, that's it.

My son did just book the Poly Sept 29-Oct 4 with the AP discount.

There are really some good AP discounts this fall we are only paying 54/night at ASMu for Sept 28-Oct 5 and the DDE card is good for the food courts there!! Just to let you know the WL is great and some nights are just 159 per night.
