UPDATE--He got through the night and things are a little better today. He's still exhausted, but he's resting and drinking a lot of fluids. The nausea is better and no pain anywhere. they're supposed to be coming home tomorrow, but I told him to just stay until he feels up to the long trip. John can drive our SUV and I know he will take care of his dad. I told John to call me if DH gets sick again or has to return to the hospital.

And you won't believe this--when I got off the phone with DH last night, my Minkydog had a seizure! He has a seizure disorder, but hasn't had a seizure for a long time. I sat there on the floor with him in the dark and all I could think was "What else is gonna happen?" Minky got better in about 20 min and has been subdued, but okay today. I don't know which one of the spirits we have ticked off, but I"m ready to get my life back, please.

I'm glad your DH is a bit better, and I hope he makes it back safely. I hope your Minky is feeling better soon too. I had a poodle with seizure disorders once; it is scary to watch them; you feel so helpless to do anything for them.
