which would you recommend?

in our party will be 4 adults, a 20(boy), 19(girl), 12(girl), and 6(Boy) year old- none of whom have been to disney

would your choice change any if I said it would just be 2 adults and girl12 and boy 6?

Thanks, Jen (I think I posted this on the wrong board earlier- sorry)

I preface this by saying, I am not an expert, and we haven't been to all of the meals, but I think your family would love Liberty Tree Tavern. Chip and Dale play to such a wide audience and Goofy was sliding around on the chairs, it just seemed to be fun without complete chaos. And, the food was pretty darn good!

When our family went back in 2004 we did EVERY character meal once that was offered at the time...
I can give you my advice from that one character chasing trip what our experience was

1. Cindy's castle IF YOU can book it far enough ahead hands down the best one I think. Nothing says Disney more than eating in the castle!

2. If the castle is booked, try Garden Grill in Epcot. Its quiet and great interaction with Mickey and pals.

3. 1900 park fare if you want to eat with Cinderella for dinner was great for buffet.

Out of all of the character meals the one our family disliked the most was Crystal Palace. It was PACKED full of screaming toddlers who's parents were forcing them to take pics with big scary monsters :rotfl2:
It was soooo loud at one point we couldn't even hear ourselves talk across the table.

We would say the Crystal Palace for breakfast. Great character interaction, good food and we have always had great service. We have heard that the Cape May Cafe one is exceptional for character interaction, but we have never done that one. We have never done Cinderella because we do not have daughters and our sons absolutely did not want to go. My DH and I did the lunch in Norway with the princesses this year...the princesses were great, the food at lunch was not.

we were four adults at Crystal Palace for dinner and we had an absolutely great time......food was excellent and the characters were there if we wanted them to be.......had a great night..

hubby and I went back a few weeks ago and the food as usual was great and the characters came over and snuck up on me.....we were off to one side and the noise level was not that bad......

Our 2 favorites were Crystal Palace dinner and Chef Mickeys breakfast. Great interaction and we enjoyed the food too.

I love LTT. The food is really good for dinner. And the character interaction is great.

Just back from WDW today and have to give my 2 cents worth...1900 Park Fare Happily Ever After Dinner was GREAT! The food was good and the character interaction was FABULOUS! The stepsisters were yelling at each other across the room. Lady Tremaine was yelling at Cinderella. It was a great dinner! We will be visiting there again!

My DF and I went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast and we thought the character interaction was GREAT! We thought the food was good too. So that would get my vote!

Another fan of the Crytsal palace Breakfast! IMO the best Character buffet in Disney food wise (we are mid 20's adults), always have awesome service. The thing is it is Winnie the Pooh and if that does not appeal to you then Chef Mickey's may be better character wise. Good luck choosing:goodvibes

How much are these meals and where do you book them?
Thanks. Jen

You can find full menus from all WDW restaurants at www.allearsnet.com (a great site for disney info). Reservations can be made as far as 6 months in advance by calling 404-WDW-DINE.
