If we use a PIN, is it preferable to buy park passes separately?

If we book with a PIN, and also wish to buy MYW with park hoppers, will the park passes cost the same regardless of whether we buy them as part of the hotel PIN package or separately? Thank you.

If your PIN is a room only discount then you can usually save a little money on park tickets by purchasing them through Undercover Tourist. They're a Disney authorized ticket reseller. You won't save a huge amount of money but for my family, when it comes to Disney every dollar saved helps.

I think it depends in your funds too. We usually go with UT if we do room only bc with 5 adults its a decent savings. The downfall is you have to pay up front. If you do a room discount you can still make it a pkg with tickets then take the time to pay it off in increments which a lot of folks find ideal

To answer your question park tickets are the same price whether bought as a pkg or separate on the Disney site
