If we get free dining will room rate change?

We paid regular rate for our November AoA Lm room stay ( the price on their website, no discounts I am aware of..I think it was $127) so if they offer free dining at our time does the room rate go up if we choose to do it or is it truly free compared to our booking price?

It will not go up as long as you are not using a room only discount. The only problem is that free dining might not be offered for the LM rooms.

As long as you booked without any kind of discount, the dining plan will be free. From what I've been reading, sometimes LM rooms at AoA are not included with certain promotions. As always, you must purchase park tickets with the free dining promotion.

Echoing the PP's. In theory, because you booked at rack rate, your rate should not be affected by Free Dining, however, AoA LM has not been subject to any discounts all year and word is, that it won't be.

If you are already paying rack rate, it will not change. However LM rooms have not been offered for discounts because they have no trouble filling them.

We had free dining in the LM rooms last November. They were not included with the pin that we used for this coming November. Fingers crossed for you, you never know.

What will change, however, is that you must add at least a 2 day base park ticket to your room reservation to get free dining. If you don't currently have tickets added to your reservation, you might get some sticker shock.

We were booked at ASMovies, then switched to a LM room at AoA for September. Booked at rack rate a few months ago.

Free dining was not available for us in a LM room, so we switched back over to ASMovies and room/ticket price did not change.

The other discount available was up to 30% discount on room, but didn't apply to LM rooms either. I guess they don't need the discounts to keep the LM rooms full.

Also, if you have a room only reservation, that will have to be cancelled/refunded and a FD package booked, requiring a new $200 deposit (or payment in full if this is done 45 days or less prior to arrival). Since room only and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward once cannot be applied to the other and tickets can't just be added to room only to make it a package.
