"Dont cry because its over, be happy that it happened."

Im not sure if thats the exact quote, but it still has the same meaning. It looks like we are starting to face fact that VMK will close, but we will ALWAYs have our memories right? :goodvibes

From experience memories fade oh to quickly and pictures only make the feelings worse.

you can give up but why? 3 days into this, I doubt any passionate loyal players are thinking of quitting. There are no facts here, Disney could not close it. TV shows have come back, Disney ran a big 25th Celebration and created tons of merchandise for one night only thanks to a campaign about Epcot's 25th, Disney extended the Platinum schedule because of 5000 petition signed fans that wanted it, sometimes shows bomb but demand and petitions change things and not in 1 day but weeks.

That is a great quote, but personally I feel that if Walt was here, he would not have thought of closing vmk to begin with. I feel it would be a project for him that would never be finished, just as the real parks. I think he would probably keep trying to expand it, better it, and bring the Virtual Kingdom to people all over the world who may not able to experience the real parks.

I agree Walt would never let this happen. Walt was for family, was for kids and was for happiness. People laughed at him because of all the swamp land he bought to build WDW. He would want the VMK players who are kids to be happy, have the chance to 'be at the parks' when they don't have the way, and a place to go where others accept you no matter what disability you have.

That's a beautiful sentiment. After we give up. But I'm not giving up.
