If they offer free dining...

We already have passes, for our next trip - we upgraded our passes to 10 days on our last trip (with no expiration). If we go during the free dining promo (if offered), is it true we only have to purchase a 1 day base ticket for each member of our party to get the free dining. Can you do that with a MYW package deal - book 7 nights and a 1 day base ticket for each memebr in you party (3 and older) and get free dining? Has anyone actually done this an been successful? I was only going to do a room only reservation and see if I have a code under my name but this may be a better deal.

Unless they change the rules this year, you will only have to buy a one day base ticket for each member in your party in order to get the dining plan. That is what we did last year during the free dining promotion. We booked POR for 8 nights with free dining and bought a one day base ticket. We buy 10 day hopper passes with the waterpark/PI/DQ add-ons with no expiration. This way we get two vacations out of our tickets saving us about $1500 on tickets the year we don't need to buy them. We already booked for this August but I am hoping that if free dining is offered we can modify our existing reservation. Happy planning!

Thanks! I think I'll book my room only now, and then if they offer free dining, I'll change our dates and rebook with free dining! It's definitely worth buying an extra one-day ticket to get free dining for a week!!!

My understanding is that the UK free dining offer had a longer-duration admission purchase requirement, but the bounce-back offer had the standard one-day requirement. No telling what any future offer will require.
