a child to an adult?

I know when my daughter was younger she almost always ordered off of the adult menu. She was never a chicken fingers etc type of kid. So I wonder if they would allow you to upgrade the child credits to full adult credits if you paid the adult price?

I would think they would. My daughter never ate much "kid food" either. Always ordered off the adult menu and it never bothered me to pay for it either. I was also not one to make her "clean her plate" since restaurants put so much food on the plate.

As long as the Dining Plan is linked to packages, though, you may face problems buying young child admissions with adult Dining Plan. It'll be a special exception kind-of-thing, which you'll need to ask for each time, and as long as there isn't an official policy regarding it, sometimes you're request will be granted, sometimes not.

I looked into this because my daughter will turn 10 on the day we check out and she is not light eater. CM advised me that it was o.k. for me since my DD would turn 10 but for those of you with younger children who will be returning they will input an incorrect b day and this b day stays in the computer. So, you may run into problems in future visits (the computer saying your child is a junior when they really aren't). Of course you'd also have to pay adult park admission if you want adult dining plan. Hope this helps.

I called and checked on this the other day. On our next trip our youngest dd will be 9 and the only one ordering from the child's menu. Her older sisters will be ordering from the adult menu. The CM said I could pay the difference in the ticket and dp price and she could order whatever she wants. The total will be a little less than $200.00 for the whole week. I am thinking that it may be worth it just to avoid her feeling left out. Plus, we found that most CS locations were really lacking on the child menus as well.
