Which week do you think was the least busiest in 2006? It seems like the week of Labor Day probably because many kids go back to school that week like us and don't feel they can miss the first week. We were there from 9/30 to 10/10 and it got busier as the Columbus day approached. Thinking ahead and hoping for free dining...if you were there other weeks do you feel the crowds were ok? Thanks!

In general, January (starting the second week) and September are the two least busy months at WDW.

Free dining was announced around the end of March/beginning of April this year for bookings between mid-August and the end of September.

I was really trying to figure out which week I would go if there is free dining again in August/September -- I was there last month. Many people had commented that the 3rd week in september was pretty slow...

Hello, DH and I were there Sept 15 -23 and never had a wait for any rides. Dining got to be a bit of a nightmare at times.. you just have to go with the flow and make your ressies way in advance.

I have a friend in London. He just booked a package (not sure who with though - some British company I think). The package had free dining in it and he checks in on Aug 14, 07.

All the British travel companies have this offer on at the moment but it is only available as a package from there with flights.

No doubt Disney will be bringing it out again for everyone else. :)

My sister and I were there September 20-25th. The only park that we found really crowded was AK on the 20th. I think a lot of this was due to extra magic hours (they were open to 8:00 p.m.). Other then this, the crowds were very manageable. I think the most we waited for a ride was 30 minutes for Soarin. We could have gotten a fast past, but didn't want to come back later.
