Hi there!

Our trip will be June 19-26 in WDW. I'll be going with my DBFF (if that's even a thing), who I will refer to as LD (an inside joke/nickname), and her mom. We are SO excited! To give myself something to do while i wait these EXCRUCIATING eight days, I thought I'd start up my very first PTR, since I'm planning on doing a TR when the trip is over. Later I'll post some pictures of our "Cast" but first I'll need to dig some up (and get permission).

Here's our Basic Info:

WHO:

Me- The one who wore her sleeping beauty nightgown to nursery school, who went to disney COUNTLESS times as a child, but NEVER stayed on-site. (This is my first time going in YEARS).

LD- Another Disney freak who has been there several times (she's stayed at Dolphin, POFQ, and one of those off-site hotels in DD). She is super fun and having been to WDW more recently than myself, she'll have lots of insight!

LD's Mama- Basically the expert on all things Disney. She has had a folder on the dining room table for 2 months with detailed descriptions of crowds, trip plans, ADR's, etc that she created and/or printed from various websites. She's done extensive research, even though she's been there enough times to know Disney inside and out.

WHAT:

Just an awesome summer VACAY in the most magical place on earth! We got the idea in January, but didn't think anything would come of it. Then we realized we'd all saved up some money, and they had several extra Disney tickets from previous trips. VOILA!

WHEN:

As previously mentioned, June 19-26 2012

WHERE:

The Swan Resort. We'll be hitting up all four parks on the trip, DD, and (possibly) Typhoon Lagoon. We may veto that in favor of a spa day. We'll see.

WHY:

I think you all know the answer to that one...

Oh, and ADR's. She has updated the plans, but this is what I know of:
-Sci-Fi Dine in Theater
-The Plaza
-Teppan Edo
-The Wave
-Coral Reef
-Mama Melrose's
-Rainforest Cafe
-Via Napoli
-Kona Cafe
-Biergarten (I think this one got knocked from the list??)

So, I have the basic gist of our plan, but LD's mom has more info in her folder (so once I get my hands on that, I'll edit this). Essentially, it should go something like this:

DAY ONE (JUNE 19): I'll need some heavy duty sirens because I'll be waking up at 4:15 AM (and that's at latest; this will be a scramble). We'll be at the airport at 6:30 ish, to make our flight (which i think is around 8, but I could be wrong). We'll have breakfast on the go, grab some gossip magazines at the airport, and we will be dying of suspense for the duration of the flight. Then, we'll finally be there  The Swan doesn't have Magical Express, so we will get a driver. We plan to stop along the way at a grocery store to grab some on-the-go breakfasts for our trip. From then on, we'll be on Disney property and nowhere else! After a quick, refreshing, hotel stop, we'll grab lunch someplace, and then head to....

DHS! So exciting! I don't know if Toy Story Mania will be accessible by this time (even though I'm DYING to go on it since I've never been), but we'll be back for more when we've got full days. We might hit up Star Tours, the Great Movie Ride, or one of the shows (I can't really handly RNR, and most likely not TOT either), and then it's time for SCI FI DINE IN THEATER. We are pretty excited about this one. I hear the food is average but the atmosphere is great, and that's fine with me. Then, it's bed time (we want to be up for rope drop as many days as possible)

DAY TWO (JUNE 20): It's time for Magic Kingdom. There is something so special about MK. Everything Disney is good, but I just feel like MK rounds out your whole trip. When you walk in, you just feel like you're right in the middle of the magic. It's the initiation. Maybe that's just me... anyway, we have this bizarre obsession with going on Astro Orbiter, because neither of us have been on it, and according her mom's plans, LD and I are riding that FIRST. Then, it's Fantasyland (Pooh, Peter Pan, and friends), after which we will get a fastpass for Splash, and then ride BTMRR. I believe there's lunch next (ADR at the Plaza), and then Buzz, TTR, and maybe Space. At some point, we are getting FastPass for BTMRR, and then returning to ride that in the evening. Then we're doing an evening Jungle Cruise ride. There's a break somewhere in there during which Mama LD will take a rest, and LD and I will try to jump on the carousel, or do some shopping. I can't remember for the life of me which one of our ADR is that night. (More planning to come in next post)

Day 3 plans are yet to come! I'll keep you posted! (All I know is EPCOT)

Day 4:(P.S. I apologize for all my font-switching- I think I've got it down now) Animal Kingdom time! We'll head straight from rope drop to a nice morning safari (Yay!) and then over to DINOSAUR! I'm a little nervous about that one- Eeek! We'll get fastpass for EE, and then to Primeval Whirl and Flights of Wonder. I am a little fuzzy on this part, but I think we get another FP for EE after we ride, and THEN have lunch. But maybe that's after lunch? Anyway, we conclude the day with Kali River Rapids (oh wait, I think that's what the second fastpass was), some jungle paths, and It's Tough to Be a Bug!

Day 5 is our "day off", but we will probably hit up Typhoon Lagoon that day, or opt out for the spa, and then do some DD shopping. Sat, Sun, and Mon plans are not definite yet, but Mama LD is working on 'em!

I do love the Swan and I do the a spa day (that's my vote!)! Have fun!!
