If the pool is closed at the hotel you are staying at can you pool hop to another hotel or do they not allow that?

Also is the deal out now with half board about the best to expect for August or is there a chance of a better deal it still seems so expensive for 4 people and I'm not finding offsite any cheaper at that time :confused3

Usually no you cant pool hop because the pool closure is advertised in advance.

If the price you are seeing is 30% off plus free half board then thats a not~bad deal ~ but depending on how many nights etc another countries offer might suit better ~ try having a look at the france dlp site offer for example.

also, remember to try changing the room type when you do a pricing up on the DLP website - as often its the more expensive rooms which are showing, and you can change the room type (if available) to get a lower price.

We are booked at the NPB for the first week in October and the pool is closed until the end of October, our travel agent gave us a letter from Disney stating that we could use the pools at either HNY or SL while we are there and also they will give us a €50 voucher to spend in any of the shops at DLP, apparently they will issue the vouchers etc at check in.

Thanks for that was the closure advised when you booked?
Would you mind sharing which travel agent you used I've been looking at Disneyland paris direct they came up in a google search.

Thanks yes that's the deal that seems to work best for our dates I have looked at the other sites , the get 2 nights free would of been better but we didn't book in time.

The NPB and sequoia lodge are about the same price it's just the pool closure at NPB that's stopping me.

i would book the sequoia lodge anyway this year, as the NBC is going through a major refurb which will still be taking place in summer this year.

:thumbsup2Thanks for that I didn't even think about that :)

The NPB refurb is going at the moment and I wouldn't stay there this side of summer, the restaurants are closed as is most other facilities, not a good time but the refurb has to be done at some point and disruption is going to happen due to the size of the hotel. I'm pretty sure most of it will be done by late September when we stay there, certainly the restaurants will be open but according to Disney the pool and sauna and fitness room is closed until the end of Oct, we were advised upon booking that the pool etc was closed until Oct 1st, we are there 29th Sep to 5th Oct, it didn't bother us too much as i'm doubtful we would have used it anyway but they must have changed the completion dates at some point recently due to the offer they gave of using other pools etc.

I'm pretty sure by the time we go the only things left in refurb at NPB are the pool and its associated facilities, as far as I know the restaurants and all rooms will be completed as will the reception areas etc. We are really looking forward to it as we've never stayed there before as it always had a cold feel to the whole décor but the refurb now looks really nice and inviting.
