I booked our rooms at the PoP Century! ​

I didn't love the POR and think the PoP looks like so much fun. I told DH if he agreed to the 2 extra days, I'd be mellow on the room. Although the Poly is in my heart it certainly is not worth not staying longer for. So we'll be at the PoP!

We're staying at POP for our mommy/son trip! $1100 for the week for both hotel and tickets! How can I turn it down???

You can't! I can't wait to hear how you loved it!!!! Two nights
at the POP was a whopping $236 including tax. We'll go from OKW GV to AKV to the POP! 10 full days of Disney magic! Now I am debating on tickets. I'll save $250 if we skip the hopper option.

Thank goodness it's the weekend. Today was the most heartbreaking day on the unit with regard to the patients.




So any input on skipping the Hopper option? I looked at our itinerary and it looks like it would only be necessary one day so I am thinking about eliminating it and saving the cash.

We never use park hoppers. I find it's much less strenuous on Jon. We go back to the room...rest...and head back to catch up on anything we didn't get done early in the day. I have found that, for us, it gives us much more relaxed touring plans.

That is what I was thinking too. There is really only one day that we were hopping. We would have 10 days total so I am thinking: 3 at MK, 2 and Epcot, 2 at MGM, 2 at AK, and one at Typhoon Lagoon/DTD. What do you think?

I think it sounds great! If you need a rest day in there or a light day, you could always take away one of the AK days. You can really do that in one day. Or maybe one of the MGM's or MK's.

The parks aren't open all that late. I think we'll only make a few evening EMH so we won't need to rest a ton. I am also thinking of skipping TL. We went last trip and loved it but............... that's $188 bucks we'd save and it really is just a water park. I am truly not trying to be skint (as the UKrs say ) I just am trying to be smart, ya know?

I am a little worried switching rooms 3 x.

I don't know how you pack. Do you pack a suitcase per kid? Or do you combine?

It would seem to me that you could get by without unpacking clothes. What you unpack in the rooms (at least for me) is toiletries/meds/etc.

So, maybe that stuff could have its own bag. So that you're only responsible for unpacking and packing one or two bags. Not every bag, KWIM?

Or maybe you could separate suitcases by hotel and then have one big bag for toiletries and extras.

Just a few ideas. I don't know what I would do...as I've never switched it up like ya'll are doing.

I think we have a winner winner chicken dinner! Mama likey this idea a lot!!!! I could put all toiletries in one bag and then do bags per hotel. My guess is that while in the DVC I'll do a little laundry so what I could do is break the clothes into two suitcases; one for OKW/POP and the other smaller one for AKV.

Just a few ideas. I don't know what I would do...as I've never switched it up like ya'll are doing.

I haven't done switched like this either and it goes totally against my personality and travel style but.............at least by taking the red-eye we have one less switch. If we arrived 5/9 we'd have a 4th switch.
