BTW when I worked at Glasgow Airport they used to have a Thorntons and I used to see all the American cabin crew stocking up on yummy Thorntons goodness every day (who could blame them though it is delish )

Well if you come to England you can buy tons of it And I'm not sure about the HP differences

Well you'll be pleased to know I'm all packed and managed to fit it into 1 case and it's 2kg under weight I've also almost finished cleaning oh and I've checked in online and got a pretty good seat so I'm near enough ready to go

Jo, I am SO glad you are packed. Your lack of preparedness was raising my anxiety!


So..............still no ADRs but I did find a possible airfare deal. T Mobile is offering a "free" companion flight with every new line or new contract. We are set to renew with AT&T in less than 2 weeks. The deal is you have to pay full fare and then you get a free ticket. I would still have to buy 3 tickets but the full fares are between $500-$600 which is INSANE! In the fine print it says something about if you find a cheaper fare on the exact same flight, they'll price match and add 15% so it could be a deal. I think I need to call and document what they tell me so when they try to screw me, I've got recourse.

It is complicated. Right now we are looking at about $2300 for all 5 of us to fly RT from SLC to MCO which is WAY too much especially since last year we paid $1,000 for all 5 of us. It's so over budget and I have already cut the trip by 2 days due to budget constraints.

I guess people are traveling less and instead of dropping rates they are raising them maybe to break even? I really don't know. Last year $350 pp was the highest I had seen and saw a bunch at $300 pp. I guess they are trying to make their money on people who have to travel vs those of us that won't if the prices stay so high.
