:sad2: Jon jon is sick. So...we'll be home healing and getting healthy before school starts next week.

Is this bad or good?
Bad, we won't get to visit very often at all :sad1:

I had my black catsuit and mask all ready too. :lmao:
:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: I love when you give visuals to all your slower firing friends (us).
It's only because I'm so bad at describing stuff :rotfl2:

Good for you! Very nice of you to clean up before you left -- that's another sign that you're destined for sainthood
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I found out we've got seats like 9 rows from the stage. The girls are gonna freak out! :hyper:
You going to the stage show? :yay:

 I'm sorry, that stinks but it goves you all the more reason to visit the States!

You going to the stage show? :yay:

::yes:: Yuppers, live and all. It's raining really slightly right now but hope it clears because this is an outdoor arena.

My position opens up Sept. 1. I'll be a real-live workin' woman again! I feel nekkid without work!

Nekkid..............:rotfl2: How back woodsy of you. So tell me about the job! What have you been doing with all this time off?

So last night I took the girls to see Corbin Bleu and Drew Seeley. :thumbsup2 Who's Drew Seeley? Well I still don't really know after having Gab try to explain for 45 minutes. :confused3 Ooo, she got so pissy too when I didn't immediately get who he was. :snooty: Eeesh, that's on my list of things to change in 2009.

Anyway, we had amazing seats and Corbin is one talented kid. He's 19 now so he's legal and he's a cutie. I bet he gets a lot of play if ya know what I mean. There were parts with his female dancers that were more PG-13 than G rated but nothing you wouldn't see on The Girls Next Door. What your kids don't watch that? ;) Poor Drew was having sound problems and when he decided he could stall no longer, he asked the audience for requests. Of course, being at a fair and all, some Yahoos yelled out: Corbin Bleu. I felt very badly for our boy Drew. :guilty: It's difficult to get up there and show 'em whatjew got and I just don't like when people don't show that respect. He's a hard working kid, who I don't know from Adam, but cut him some slack fair folk.

After a loooooooooong intermission, 2 funnel cake :cloud9: and a plate of nachos it was time for Mr. Bleu. Watching the girls freak with excitement is the real fun for me. They danced, the sang, the shimmied and snuck up to the front. :cool1: After multiple attempts and the "security" guard (I'll call him Tommy Bob) asking all the little groupies to sit down, I asked my girls if they were ready to find out how sneaking up to the front and staying up front is done? :teacher: This mama has been to more than her share of shows. I tell them, it works, I am cool once again. :cool2:

At one point Corbin comes out and talks about how he's 19 now and gets to vote and about the importance of voting..........In his next costume change he is wearing a shirt that says "Change". Gimme some Obama baybee. :hippie: It didn't fall on my deaf ears. Nosireebob. I clued Gabby in, who is quite opinionated and political :rolleyes1 and at that moment she fell in love with Corbin even more. :lovestruc

Of course I took photos and the only ones that came out almost decent were of Drew Seeley. :scared: The camera gods hate me, they really do. I have to come to terms with it one day but for now I shall remain in denial. I saved the photos to my desktop but don't know how to get then from the desktop to the thread. :upsidedow

I have to add that poor Joshua had to go too. He played his GameBoy during all of it but a few Corbin songs. :rotfl2:

Here are the worst photos ever but thought I'd post them anyway :p

I'm going to ask Bailie if she knows who this drew kid is........

So how is the sneaking to the front and staying there done??? Remember I'm the poor pathetic 34 yr old who's NEVER been to a concert.

I'm going to ask Bailie if she knows who this drew kid is........

He is on the new soundtrack for Cinderalla II. He also played Troy on HSM on ice. I guess he has done some other Disney songs. :confused3 I am well-versed in Drew Seeley. :rotfl2:

:faint: Never? How is that my little sheltered friend? Like never ever? I am determined to teach my kids to be proper concert goers. :thumbsup2 As far as sneaking and staying, it's best explained in a PM. It's highly classified info. It's up there with who shot JFK. :ssst: It's basically a saunter, NO pushing or shoving, and blending in type move. Even though we are technically sneaking we still must be polite.

How are things back home? Getting settled in? It always takes me a good week to acclimate to being back home. When do the kids start school?

Nekkid..............:rotfl2: How back woodsy of you. So tell me about the job! What have you been doing with all this time off?

Nothing too great. I'll be case manager for our home health office at our hospital. :confused3 Supervising providers.

oh yea. We plan parties around that show. We break out the popcorn and coronas. ;)

Unless the symphony or the lame concerts in the park my little town does, counts.........then nope never been to one. It wasn't because I didn't try either! My mom seemed to think that all concerts were evil places where untold horrors could happen to her sweet innocent girl. Guess who goes to concerts on a regular basis now??? Yep, my mutha!:confused3 I'm still scared from the Def Lepard concert all my friends go to go to when we were seniors, but my mom wouln't let me go. :headache:

Josh's hair has gotten long again Jenny!

Sounds like you had fun at the concert, I don't know who drew is either, but neither do the girls, obviously only famous in the US :rotfl2: And you sneeky saunterer you :rotfl:

 Well next time you are here, we'll go to a concert! :cool1: You can be my designated driver. ;)

Josh's hair has gotten long again Jenny!

::yes:: I just love it long. He's so spicy with long hair. pirate: People don't seem to mistake as often for a girl. Maybe his face is more manly at the ripe age of 7.

He's a cute kid and quite coordinated as well. :dancer: My entire person doesn't have as much coordination as their little pinkie does. :upsidedow

We sauntered.

Nooooo...not really. I'll set the patient's service plans, and set up speech, OT, PT, nursing, etc. for them. :confused3

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

^^^^ Psst, Jen. All that coordination is social work. ;) Sounds interesting. What's the population?

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

 I really like that show. The only thing that frogs me out is that The Hef is the same age as my FIL. :scared:

How's your weekend?

I just got off the phone with Jenna and I was trying to talk them into leaving for here sooner :flower3: but Nate has work. Loser. :rotfl2: I really want her to post about their recent trip to the beach but for some reason she's hating the DIS. :snooty: I told her she's gonna have to come post to defend herself when I make up a bunch of crap about her. :lmao: :rotfl:

Just finished cleaning, kids are playing Mario Kart, and DH is watching the Olympics. I think we are going to go to dinner for a late anniversary celebration. I wanted to go to the Kasbah Grill but it's closed on Sunday.

I just realized:

Such cute kids you have! :cutie:

So how is the sneaking to the front and staying there done??? Remember I'm the poor pathetic 34 yr old who's NEVER been to a concert.
:scared1: I haven't been to that many, either, but I like to go when I can. (I wouldn't feel too bad about missing Def Leppard though ;))

I did the sneak and stay at the last concert we went to -- I ended up next to a very drunk man who was wavin' his cell phone in the air like he just don't care  Good times for all!

Did you find a place for an anniversary dinner?

:wave2: WooHoo!!! :woohoo: Yay on December!!! I need details!!! What resort? What dates? popcorn::
It's all still fuzzy, but it would be kind of a short trip (4 nights) w/ me, DH, baby D, and DH's grandparents, who are the coolest people I know. We're getting close to making a decision on the resort, but nothing's finalized yet.

:thanks: I like 'em. They are just growing up way too quickly for my liking.

Bevily, I didn't know you had it in you!!!! ;) What concert?

Did you find a place for an anniversary dinner?

Of course the two places I wanted, Kasbah Grill and Cafe Trang aren't open on Sundays. My Sabbath is Saturday for goodness sake! :p We ended up going to Friday's. We went to Sam's Club, the Old Navy, and Best Buy so I thought it best to go some place a little cheaper. The kids wanted Tepanyaki but I dodn't feel like spending over $100 on dinner. My frugal side was showing.

How's was your weekend at the inlaws?

How very wonderful that the inlaws will be going. :thumbsup2 Keep us posted on the details. popcorn::
