Hi!!! How are the plans coming along now that the 2009 prices are out?

I have emailed Dreams Unlimted trying to see what the AAA rate is for different for possibly the last few nights of our trip. :woohoo:

How about you?

She's looking in the Westchester area, she thinks anyway and I'm so cross with her, she left me with all dirty bottle, only 1 clean set of clothes for the kids, the lounge covered in toys and her bed all dirty, I'm moving into her bedroom with Ben so I had to strip her bed at 11pm last night trying not to wake the baby :headache:

Is that your sister you are talking about?

You were OK then :rotfl:

:cool1: I am so glad.

He's gone home so no breaking into my house OK ;) :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Bummer I was ready for a raidin'! :lmao:

OH yes. I found a notebook when we were unpacking the other day and I thought it was trash...and then i looked closer.

All through it it said:

"Jon loves Bailey."

Who is this tramp that has captured my boy's attention???

:scared1: Oooo Jon loves a hussy! :rotfl:

Kirsteen, $90 for the shoes? At least you know they'll last. :thumbsup2 I bet she looks so cute and innocent.

Your TA will understand! Do they work on commission? If so she'll be more than happy I am sure. Did you email? What did she say?

So I thought I would post an update on Chloe. She had her Neuro appointment today. We arrived promptly at 7:45 am, left the house at 6:45 :sad2: Gab and Joshua insisted on going and that time wished they didn;t but after it was all said and done, it was good for them to show the support for Chloe. :grouphug:

The doc asked her symptoms and after she told him, he said it sounded like Benign Rolandic Epilepsy. :confused3 What you ask? Benign is good, Rolandic is the region of the brain, and Epilepsy is basically a seizure disorder. He says that he doesn't feel it's serious or debilitating enough to treat with meds and may not ever be which is what we are hoping for. He also said that kids grow out of it by about age 14 which is also hopeful. He had to do an EEG to support his dx. If you have ever seen your child hooked up to all those electrodes you just want to die. :sad1: Chloe looked so pitiful and I held it together until she began to cry. She cried, I cried, and then Gab cried. The EEG took about 40 minutes with 30 of it having her lie still and calm. Gab crawled in the bed with her and within 5 minutes they were both out. They fight like mad but when the crap hits the fan, they are tight. I love that. Anyway, he said if the seizures get more frequent or worse we might want to consider treating with meds but if it were his daughter, he would not treat with meds at this time. He was the nicest man ever. Very soft spoken with an empathetic aura and sweet bedside manner. :thumbsup2 He said we may also see a convulsion and not to panic. :guilty:

So for now, we are living with yet another diagnosis, apparently unrelated to her other diagnosis but I am not buying it

:scared1: You deserve a prize of some sort! How about a :flower3: and a ? How much longer will you be babysitting? (It kind of sounds like my house, but nobody has to deal with my mess but me :goodvibes)

:rotfl: The horror! I don't even want to think about the day Daniel starts bringing home girls -- I'm going to be the most protective mother ever! I've been reading your TR today, so I feel protective of Jon on your behalf!

So I thought I would post an update on Chloe.

:grouphug: Jenny, I'm so glad to hear that Chloe's dx doesn't appear too serious, even though I wish that the problems would go away completely. Thanks for sharing your story. I can feel all of the love that you have in your family, and it really touches me. That's so great that Gab and Chloe are close -- that will just continue to develop as they get older. You have such wonderful, strong, amazing, loving kids, which means that they must have very good parents! I'll continue to keep Chloe in my thoughts.

::yes:: Jo is a saint. Saint Jo; I think I saw her in the shape of a Cheeto. :rotfl2: Did you see that nut on the news who found a crunchy Cheeto in the shape of Jesus on the cross? :scared: She's keeping it in a velvet ring box. :crazy2: Someone needs a hobby; maybe she should join the DIS!

:sad:Speaking of.................Joshua got a call tonight from a girl. :faint: He's 6, 7 on Wed. She wanted to know his 4 favorite colors because she's making him something for his bday. WTHeck????

:grouphug: Thank you, that really means a lot. I do love them more than anything and I just wish I could protect them from this kind of stuff. I know I can't and I am 110% convinced that Clo is meant to do something truly meaningful in this life. :goodvibes She's has gone through so much to settle for anything less. She's a tough chick! I admire her. She teaches my whole family about lessons in courage and complaining. I hope Gab is listening. ;)

The girls had been planning a sleepover with their friend from the synagogue for weeks and tonight was the night. I really debated allowing them to go but really, why keep them home? Gab said she'll watch out for Chloe and frankly, I think she's sick of me staring at her constantly. My heart is a little achy right now. :sad2:

My DU guy emailed me back with a quote of 1219 for the FW Cabins for 4 nights with the AAA rate. That's $400 less than what I found. Not that I am even going to need it. :rotfl2: They got back to me quickly. The TA's name is Daniel and when I saw the email I thought it was pics of your precious baby.

I'm glad to hear the news about Chloe. O and I have been thinking of her. :)

I'm glad to hear the news about Chloe. O and I have been thinking of her. :)

:thanks: I fell semi-better but what matters is that she feels fine and totally unaffected. I am not prayer chain type gal but truly believe the positive and warm thoughts helped.

I found a link if anyone is interested: http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/epilepsy_benignrolandic The only thing that does not match are that neither episode was during the morning or night, both were in the afternoon. She was asleep during one and fully awake during the other.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I had no idea about the Holy Cheeto! But I will keep my eye out for images of Jo in various snack foods! ;)

Maybe it's just a nice girl who isn't old enough to either love or be creeped out by boys? :confused3 It is a little scary that he's getting calls from girls, though. What did you do?
Happy Birthday to Josh on Wednesday!:yay:

I know that you're right about Chloe's challenges--it will be wonderful for you to watch her keep growing into a very strong, amazing person!

 I'm sorry. I hope they have a fun night -- they deserve it.

The TA's name is Daniel and when I saw the email I thought it was pics of your precious baby.
How nice to think of us! I still have about a week until the pics are online. I hope you're able to find some great deals for your trip!

 I hope you let her have it with both barrells when she gets back....that is so out of order. She is very luck she has an  for a sis.

Okay folks as I'm technically challenged and can't multi quote (yes, Jo I know you told me how to do it but I forgot how to and I'm also a bit thick sometimes:confused3 ) I'll try to cover the recent topics.

#1 :grouphug: Jenny I'm so happy it's something Chloe will grow out of, I know it's a rotten time for you but it's so lovely when you see little silver linings like the way Gab is supporting Chloe, they're such good loving girls and it's fab that they are close when it counts.
#2 (Goofy)Jen....I nearly wet my knickers :rotfl2: maybe your and Jenny should start a support group "Mothers against Tramps" :lmao: wait until he's talking to the chickies on the phone. Do you have MSN on your computer? Becci has spent the last year and a half talking to friends on that thing and a fair few of the are of the opposite sex.....needless to say Big D's not a happy bunny:mad:
#3 I haven't had a chance to contacted the TA yet but I think I will tonight. It's so cute that you thought the email was pics of baby Daniel...I'll bet you were just a toatie bit sad that it was your TA and not wee cutie pics:rotfl:
#4 Jo when is your sister the princess home? I can't believe you're going to Disney SO soon :yay:

Finally I went to see Mamma Mia last night, have any of you seen it or is that a stupid question? It was fantastic, I laughted so hard I cried, then I cried so hard that I laughed and then I laughed so hard I cried again, it was such a feel good movie that I came home with a huge smile on my face:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I had no idea about the Holy Cheeto! But I will keep my eye out for images of Jo in various snack foods! ;)

It's so freakin' funny. The Holy Cheeto! :rotfl2:

Happy Birthday to Josh on Wednesday!:yay:

She's the older sister of one of the boys coming to Josh's party. His party consists of DH taking him and his little buddies to the sakte park and then back to our house for a BBQ, cake, and ice-cream. Boy parties are so mellow compared to the federal productions the girls like. :thumbsup2

Gab called twice and said they were having fun but could tell they were a little homesick. I offered to come get them but they didn't want me to.

Hit the little "" tabbie thing.

It is noce that they are so close. I am happy too I just would hate for her to have one at school. Kids can be so mean. She's already super tiny so I would just hate for her to have to go through more from a peer perspective. :guilty:

I want to see that so badly. I need a good laugh and a good cry. I have been on the verge of tears since yesterday and I just need an outlet.

:scared1: Oooo Jon loves a hussy! :rotfl:

She's a cheerleader! :scared1: He likes tramps who can shake it.

Oh Kirsteen...I saw it a few days ago. It was fantastic...no??? I loooved it.

Go see it Jenny. It's a feel-good movie...just makes you happy!

I ordered the soundtrack!!! :lmao: I want to teach Jon "Dancing Queen." :rotfl:

She's a cheerleader! :scared1: He likes tramps who can shake it.

He's got a spicy mama. I would expect nothing less. ;) And speaking of spicy, I thought this was cute. I took the kids to lunch and to Build a Bear after the docs. We were eating Hot Dog on a Stick and a man comes over and asks me to watch his bag. I tell him sure. Gab then looks at me and asks how that guy knew I spoke Spanish. I said whatjew talking about Willis? She said, mom he said something in Spanish and you said something back. I was so dazed out that I didn't even realize that I was psaking Spanish. :upsidedow Now why would this guy even think I could speak it? Clearly my tan is fabulous this year! :thumbsup2

I am so in the mood. Maybe I can talk DH into taking Josh to see Kung Fu Panda while the girls and I see Mamma Mia. :woohoo:

I'm so happy to hear that Chloe is ok

:thanks:

:cloud9: It is just a wonderful wonderful movie:cool1: , the casting was perfection and the scenery:cloud9: , you have to see it Jenny. You could take the whole family you never know Michael and Josh might like it too..."take a chance, take a change, take-a take-a chance chance";) :lmao:

There is a very sentimental bit in it where you MUST take a box of tissues.... I'm giving you the warning my mum and I never got, we made bit of a state of ourselves:blush: with not a hankie in sight:rotfl: .

Jen if you teach Jon "Dancing Queen" you also need to teach him "Waterloo"...that would be so cool:cool1:

Take the girls and go see it! There is a very touching song about mothers and daughters (if the movie's the same as the musical) that will make you cry, and lots of parts that will make you laugh hysterically! If I had a babysitter, I'd come and see it with you!

I need to see this! The musical is great, and ABBA is the best Swedish pop band ever! (But Ace of Base runs a close second ;) )

The song is in it and is so beautiful. I think you can relate it also to boys though. My mum's friend who's grandaughter died in June was thinking of taking her daughter in law to try to get her out of the house but after seeing this we both said "No way" it is a feel good movie but that bit was so well done and touching that I don't think they could have handled it:sad2:

:lmao: Oh no! Not a cheerleader!

Bev, whether you know it or not you're a founder member:lmao: ....God help any unsuspecting girlie who takes a sideways look at your Daniel;) :rotfl2:

AGREED YOU NEED TO SEE THIS BEV:thumbsup2

That sounds like lots of fun. :woohoo: Were you ever able to find his game?

I did!!!! But by the skin of my teeth. It's the 11th hour and after calling every store along the Wasatch front, I found it at Sam's Club in Layton. :woohoo: I called Michael and said. Sam's. Club. NOW!!!! The girl on the phone was super sweet and held it at guest services until he got there. :thumbsup2

::yes:: I love ABBA too but I never got into Ace of Base.

Kirsteen, glad to know I"m allowed in the club! :) It's best to start preparing now, don't you think? ::yes::

I will remember that! :goodvibes

Well, my Ace of Base phase was only about 10 minutes long (about the length of their fame), but since they're the only other Swedish pop band I know, they come in second behind Abba.
