ABFAM.

You're welcome. ;) Anything fun planned this weekend? Los Sanchez? In n Out? :cloud9:

ASFAM

Bev,

I've heard that about Pop. You definitely hear the turbo toilets flushing. Other than that, I didn't really hear the neighbors and I've stayed in 3 different locations..:confused3 So I think it's a matter of who your neighbors are.

The POP has turbo flushers?

Where do all the little leagues and cheerleaders stay? :scared:

ASFAM

I'm leaving for Church Camp tomorrow. Doing Laundry right now. I had Los Sanchez AND In n Out this past week. I think it's Carl's Jr.........

I'll be thinking about you on the 6th...

I'd be afraid to be sitting on the toilet when you flush it for fear of being turned inside out.

All Stars mostly, but overflow goes to Pop....

That's good to know! I think it looks like so much fun. Two years ago, we stayed at AS Sports to save money, and I felt like I was living in a 10-year-old boy's room circa 1978.

There were some groups there when we were at AS Sports, but we requested to be away from them, and things were pretty quiet. Of course, it wasn't a huge sporting activity, so it probably could have been much worse!

I've stayed at Value, Moderate, Deluxe and DVC and have not been disappointed yet.

Pop rooms are sparsely decorated, but they do just fine

Los Sanchez and In n Out? Man, you are living the dream!!!! :cloud9: Rumor has it that we'll be getting an In n Out fairly close by. There goes any chance of me ever getting back down to pre-baby weight. :yay:

:rotfl2: Yeah AS Sports looks like the least fun Value. POP is first, then Movies, then Music, then Sports.

How many times have you been? Where haven't you stayed?

Just from staying at Value and Moderate, I can see that you definitely get what you pay for. But I didn't mind staying at the All-Stars. The decor wasn't my cup of tea (but I don't think I was the demographic it was designed for either!), but we weren't in the room that much, and it was probably our best trip of the three times we've been there.

I love staying on property, no matter what the resort--it just adds to the magic! pixiedust:

I have never tried the mythical In n Out, but I will if it's close! Where will it be located? A Five Guys just opened in Fort Union--that's a chain in the DC area--they have the best fries in the world. It's good I don't hang out in Fort Union much.

The reason we chose sports is because it picks up and drops off first at the All-Stars. That comes in handy at busy times. The other resorts seem a little more my style, though.

Good questions! What are your favorites, Jordan?

I do too even at Disneyland and it's so much smaller. I love never leaving the magic. pixiedust:

:ssst: It's a secret Layton ;) I've never heard of Five Guys.

Do all 3 All Stars share the same bus system?

I totally agree! We stayed at Paradise Pier last time we were at DL -- it was so great!

Is it worth hauling my cookies all the way to (secret location goes here) for In n Out Burger?
I've only been to Five Guys in VA -- it's yummy and on my list of places to go in the near future.

I think they have separate buses for MK but they're the same for everything else. But it probably depends on the time of day, I would guess.

I forgot to ask, what did you buy the first day at Layton Mall?

Evan shopped at aeropostle, american eagle, holister , mervyns & some shoe store! I was broke in 2 hours! Tomorrow it's Bailie's turn to turn my plastic to dust!;)

[

I can't wait to see it. DH wants to see the Dark Night  and I want to see Mamma Mia so we might have a date night where we see different movies. :rotfl2: How romantic, huh?! ;)

I think I told you how I felt about the Dark knight...........Go to Mama Mia! I LOVED it.........I might be going again tomorrow!

How cool, you're teaching Hebrew school! You will be an awesome teacher! The kids.......are they kids?.........are going to love you!:lovestruc

:wave2: Hi folks, hope you're all having a good weekend:grouphug: . It sounds like you're all very busy.

You've all be very chatty during my absence so a few questions...

Jo...how are you staying sane with two babies to care for :scared: , you are a VERY good anutie and sister I hope your DSis brings you a lovely gift back from NYC in appreciation. Where in NY is she looking?

Jenny...as Jo said what does your training involve for Hebrew school teacher?

(Goofy)Jen...do you fancy sharing with us what you've made with your Mickey heads in the past?

The PPH is my favorite of the DL properties. I know I am supposed to the GCH is the best but I just don't. You can't beat the location but it feels very woodsy to me which I like, but it doesn't feel super Disney.

Is it worth hauling my cookies all the way to (secret location goes here) for In n Out Burger?

::yes:: It's beyond worth it!!!! :thumbsup2 Even DH, my health nut, said that In n Out will be our only date dinner from now on. :rotfl2:

I think they have separate buses for MK but they're the same for everything else. But it probably depends on the time of day, I would guess.

:thumbsup2 Gotcha. Well I was less than pleased with the POR bus service and it only served the POR and POFQ. :scared:

Have fun!!!!! They older they get, the spendier they get. You are going to Newgate today? Did you find any good deals in Layton?

:rotfl2: Twice in a week?

How cool, you're teaching Hebrew school! You will be an awesome teacher! The kids.......are they kids?.........are going to love you!:lovestruc

::yes:: Kids. I don't know that I have the patience to be a teacher but maybe because it's a subject that I am not well versed in, it'll give me some empathy. ;) They've got a Hebrew teacher, I'll just be teaching one of the general classes.

Nope not quite Jenny :rotfl2: We're 5 hours ahead of WDW time, so 12 Midday in Orlando is 5 pm here :thumbsup2

It was 10 here, noon in WDW, and 5 in the UK.

The 2 babies have gone out to visit my Mum this morning so it's very peaceful here :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

How's it been watching 2 toddlers? How's your visit? Is DH there and is this a good time to ransack your house? :rotfl:

Jenny tell us more about this Hebrew Teaching popcorn::

At this point I know very little. Hebrew school starts back up in September and I'll sit in with another teacher. It's Sundays from 9-11:30 am.

Aww thanks honey:grouphug: , the McDonalds are all well, I hope you're lot are good. I had to work three days as opposed to two this week and I've been asked to join the social committee at work which means I've spent my time looking into options for my work's Christmas Night Out, so it's been a busy week with little Dis-ing.

I heard that the 2009 rates will be out this weekend, does anyone know if this is the case?

I'm having so much fun with the planning....better than working that's for sure;)

The UK prices for the Ultimate Park Hopper passes went up last month:sad2: : . I just hope we they don't do a major price hike on the resort prices for next year:worried:

Planning is always better than working. Have you found a good location? Menu ideas? Open bar? :cool2:

Me too. I wish I had an extra $1,500, I'd buy our tickets/AP now. :hyper: We still need to coop paying for our sod. :sad1:

What resort are you hoping for this week? ;)

:cool1: You know it!!! We are putting out 3 options to the staff
#1 Is the Shanghai Shuffle www.shanghaishuffle.com/christmas this is where I had my Hen Night and it's a great time but the only nights it's available is Mon, Tue or Wed
#2 Is a Ceilidh Night http://www.standrewsinthesquare.com/Flash/saints.html nice menu but only available at the beginning of December and I'm not keen on traditional Scottish country dancing.
#3 Is the brainchild of my friend Aisling and myself.....A Holywood Glamour Night to be held in the office building (big old victorian sandstone townhouse) everyone can dress up as a movie character or just be glam as a movie star. We want to decorate the place and provide a DJ and buffet. As you can imagine our imaginations are already running amock:yay:

Lack of available cash is total pants....but there's always the lottery;)

What resort are you hoping for this week? ;)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: You know me so well, my plans change daily. We're still kind of hoping for the BC/Poly combo or if not the POR/BC but the way the finances are going it may well be POR/POP....I don't really care anymore as long as I'm staying in 'The heart of the magic' I'll be happy:cloud9:
