I found this site when I was looking for a pressie for one of my friends. She's goint to Ethiopia for a six week volunteer teaching assignment and will be staying at a convent with nuns . I ordered her the "Oot on the randan" shirt because that's as close as she's going to get to being on the randan for six weeks ...she's hoping there'll be a wee jakey nun she can go out on the swalley with (no chance )

Nothing much planned for the rest of today. Latest Disney developments....I was speaking to Becci's BFF Chloe's mum at the school gates today and said that if they wanted Chloe could come to WDW with us next year.....chat, chat, chat. Then I caught myself saying "Well you know if Chloe isn't comfortable being away from you guys for two weeks you could come along as well because the discounted rate is good for two rooms". Now we all get along really well but only one problem Chloe's wee bro is a wee jobby ...Big D's going to freak

Just a quickie today.....(post that is )

Tomorrow is staff appreciation day at the school, and I'll be there all day hanging with the teachers. The PTO sets up a luncheon for the staff. I went to Sam's Club last night with a friend from PTO and we stocked up. Today I'll be making my baklava & chocolate covered strawberries. I don't mind being busy b/c it makes the days go by quicker!

I'll try to come by later & see what you are all up to!

1 sheep's stomach cleaned and thoroughly, scalded, turned inside out and soaked overnight in cold salted water.
heart and lungs of one lamb
1lb/450g beef or lamb
2 large onions, finely chopped
8oz/225g oatmeal
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp ground black freshly ground pepper
1 tsp ground dried coriander
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Enough water to cook the haggis
stock from lungs

Burns night is when the Scots celebrate the life of Robert Burns the poet!
