I've had some more time to study this closely so here's my thoughts:

:cool1: Yay, input!!!!

We will be coming directly from our house. That is if we are still living at our house at that point. Your guess is as good as mine!

Okay. Well T-Rex is still good though?

Love it!!! Hopefully we'll be checking into an Old Key West GV!!

:cloud9: I love it too! OKW GV- here we come we hope!!!

Again, love it!! I'm down with the plan thus far!

:woohoo:

This day may require changes for our family. Nate is adament about not doing a water park. He hates them. So we may count us out of Typhoon Lagoon. Maybe M & N can go golfing & we can take the kids to the water park. The night at Epcot spunds great though!

Since we'll be there 2 days longer we'll just go after you guys leave. :thumbsup2 I am so flexible.

Perfect day!!:lovestruc

:lovestruc Agreed!

Yes, I will be up!! I did make rope drop for EMH at MK once believe it or not!;) The only gripe I have this day is I'm not too crazy about the food at Village Haus. We may do Peco's Bills or Cosmic Ray's.

Truly, all the CSs are near the same to me. Cosmic Ray's or Peco's it is. :goodvibes

There may be changes here too. I highly doubt we will make it back from KSC in order to go to MGM in the afternoon. I think we'll probably make it back just in time for the P & P party. It is a good hour out to Kennedy.

So you guys are set on the SC? How much are tickets? How close can you get? How long is the launch? Give me the skinny when you get it. popcorn:: I have no desire to go but M and the kids might want to go. What about dinner at the pirate: and princess: party? I say we make an ADR and then cancel if we need to just to be safe.

We all enjoyed our breakfast at CP before so it sounds good to me!

We could also do Cape May breakfast; it looks good. Or another. I am still pissed that LTT won't have characters. That was the perfect fit for us! :sad1:

You hate me now don't you?:flower3: ;)

I think not. :flower3: I love having someone to plan with! :cloud9:

Just putting in my tuppenceworth (not that it goes for anything, but I thought I would anyway;) ) We loved:love: Cape May for breakfast last year. We ended up booking it as a spur of the moment thing...actually it was Donny that booked it  . He phoned to try to get a ressie for somewhere to eat on 04thJuly :rotfl2: (Oh you foolish virgin:lmao: ) and got chatting to the res agent over the phone. They blethered for a while and he came off the phone with this ressie pirate: , I was a bit dubious but we had an excellent time great food and fabby character interaction. And yes I was totally gobsmacked but this just proves that we're a lot more alike than Big D would care to admit:rolleyes1

:
Kirsteen- how's Niamh doing with preschool?

Thanks for asking Jenna:goodvibes , she's starting to settle in now :woohoo: . A big part of the problem was that she's the boss when she's with Donny's mum and dad on a Thu & Fri and she knows how to work them:headache: . I had a long chat on Monday with her key worker and the unit manager and they agreed to be very firm with her and not put up with any tears or nonsence. Apparently on the first Thu that Donny's parents took Niamh to nursery she started crying and they had to be talked out of taking her back home....believe me it that had happened you would have heard me explode on your side of the pond:mad: . They're having a problem letting go just now and it has not been helping matters. Yesterday though there were a few wee tears when she went in but once she was settled she had a great time and was a changed child when I came in from work last night:cool1: , sorry very long story but looks like it's got a happy ending:thumbsup2

I'm glad she's starting to get settled there now.:goodvibes I can only imagine how furious you would have been if her grandparents took her home. The kids sure know how to take advantage of those they have wrapped around their finger, don't they?;)

Emma was fine for the first week. Then one day when I picked her up, she told me she cried at school. Since then, everytime she goes (Mon, Wed, & Fri), she has a whining spell beforehand about how she hates school & doesn't want to go.:sad2: We recently found out there is a problem child in the class and is taking issue with Emma as well as some other kids. The teachers are dealing with this child (she may have been removed from the class) and Emma was much better about going to school Wednesday. We'll see how today turns out.:rolleyes1

We never had Cape May for breakfast, but we did have a great dinner there in June. It wasn't a character meal, but still a good time. :thumbsup2

The other character breakfast we could try is 'Ohana. I wouldn't mind eating there twice.:rotfl:

Okay. Well T-Rex is still good though?
Oh yeah! Chris is really looking forward to eating here!!

:cloud9: I love it too! OKW GV- here we come we hope!!!
Two weeks today, I can make our ressies!!!!

Since we'll be there 2 days longer we'll just go after you guys leave. :thumbsup2 I am so flexible.
You are such a giver like that!;) :rotfl2: What do you want to do instead?:confused3

Truly, all the CSs are near the same to me. Cosmic Ray's or Peco's it is. :goodvibes
Cosmic Ray's is probably the better choice. They have more of a variety & the portions are huge! The kids could probably share on this day!

There may not be a launch when we go. I was looking at the KSC website last night and in one place it says a launch is scheduled for 5/15/09, and in another it says 5/21/09. You can sign up for launch updates via e-mail where you type in your vacation dates. I typed in ours and got an e-mail reply that there were no launches during our dates. So that is totally up in the air right now.

We definetely should make an ADR before the P & P party regardless of what we end up doing that day.

I'm flexible!

I'm p o'ed too! First they close my local Disney Store, then they take away the characters at LTT. What's next.....closing Pleasure Island???;) :lmao: :rotfl2:

Actually, I really don't have an opinion on PI. I haven't been there since I was 23 so it's not a big loss to me.

I think not. :flower3: I love having someone to plan with! :cloud9:

So glad Emma's feeling a wee bit happier about school...good luck for today:goodvibes

 Thanks!!:goodvibes

Do you & Big D have any exciting plans for this weekend?

Not really, D's working tomorrow. If the weather's okay we might do something on Sunday, this is a holiday weekend in Glasgow and as the Sunday School Superintendent I made an executive decission to have a holiday in the sunday school as well:woohoo: Free Sunday - the sky's the limit.

What about you guys anything fun or outragous planned?

You and Big D both look hot in a Wonder Woman suit, that's something alike. ;) What characters are at Cape breakfast?

That first consistency is key! :thumbsup2 It's difficult but key. I am glad she's doing better at school.

I was thinking the same thing. My kids have been wanting to do a Lilo and :stitch: meal since 2005.

Oh yeah! Chris is really looking forward to eating here!!

Joshua and Chloe are too!

Two weeks today, I can make our ressies!!!!

It's truly almost more than I can take!!!! The more I think about, the more I love our plans!

You are such a giver like that! :rotfl2: What do you want to do instead?:confused3

Let's look and see what we'll have done by that point. We could do AK a day early and skip their EMH? The middle of the week is also a great day for MK.

Cosmic Ray's is probably the better choice. They have more of a variety & the portions are huge! The kids could probably share on this day!

Cosmic Ray's it is!!! What day is that again? :upsidedow

If there is no launch that will work better for moving resorts but hopefully we'll know soon.

We definetely should make an ADR before the P & P party regardless of what we end up doing that day.

Where do you want to eat? Tony's? Somewhere else in MK? Somewhere near MK?

I'm p o'ed too! First they close my local Disney Store, then they take away the characters at LTT. What's next.....closing Pleasure Island???;) :lmao:

:rotfl2: You are clairvoyant!

So you say now........pirate:

Now now, after 4 exciting family get togethers, I think you are stuck with us. :flower3:

Not really, D's working tomorrow. If the weather's okay we might do something on Sunday, this is a holiday weekend in Glasgow and as the Sunday School Superintendent I made an executive decission to have a holiday in the sunday school as well:woohoo: Free Sunday - the sky's the limit.

Sounds like a nice weekend.

No for all 4 of us :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

Definitely leave, it's not far to the Boardwalk or Epcot

 I wonder what good CS the Boardwalk has if any?

There is a hot dog stand (don't think this is on DDP), the bakery (really good sandwiches), and a pizza place (I think). There are also some sit down places, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, Spoodles, Flying Fish Cafe, ESPN Club.

We usually don't eat much around the Boardwalk, but if we do it's usually at ESPN or the hot dog stand. We have had sandwiches at the bakery once and they were HUGE! I actually couldn't finish mine. The dog stand has nachos and fries too if I remember right.

You and Big D both look hot in a Wonder Woman suit, that's something alike. ;) What characters are at Cape breakfast?

:lmao: you're a wee fibber but I love you for saying it:rotfl: .

The characters are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Dale (no Chip he must have been on the frozen margarita's the night before;) ) . I read here that Donald is being added to character so that will be :cool1: . CMC wasn't too busy compared to other character meals (and remember this was in July) and the characters interaction was superb. Goofy in particular took a long time at our table playing noughts and crosses on the tablecloth with Becci and messing about with Niamh...we heart Goofy big time now:love:

That first consistency is key! :thumbsup2 It's difficult but key. I am glad she's doing better at school.

thanks for the :goodvibes let's hope the improvement continues

Sounds like a nice weekend.

:cool1: Big D announced last night that he's not working today so once Niamh's been to her dancing class we can do something fun:banana: . We were thinking of maybe going away for the day on Sunday but we're waiting to see how the weather pans out.

What are you guys up to?

Hey disbugsmomma:flower3: , I've read pretty iffy reports about ESPN:sad1: what were your experiences? We're hoping to stay at BC next summer and ESPN would be nice and handy for us.

The Flying Fish looks SO good. Everyone likes seafood but Jenna so we may make her suffer through it. ;)

I  the ESPN Zone's nachos. I have only been to the one in DTD at Disneyland but I am guessing they are the same.

:thumbsup2 That sounds good! And Joshua loves Donald too. I am guessing the breakfast food are pretty much the same at all of the character meals.

thanks for the :goodvibes let's hope the improvement continues

:goodvibes I am sure she'll do great. Set backs are to be expected so just be prepared. Chloe went through a phase where she hated to leave my side but we worked through it.

Hope you had a nice day. :flower3: I attended 2 soccer games, made Challah (still have to braid it, it's rising) went grocery shopping, made dinner, and cleaned up after.

We like it. It's not a must do or anything but if Big D likes sports they have these lounge chairs with remotes and you can eat, drink, and flip the channels. The only missing is a ball scratcher. :rotfl2: The give the chairs on a first come first serve basis.
