If the murse is wrong............link to trip report on last pg, post 520.

Now that the shock has worn off over seeing your purdy face I can respond. ;)

Jenny...

Why are you on the internets?

Waiting for my yoga pants to dry so I thought I would post a bit. :rotfl2:

You're freakin' 3 weeks away from a trippie!

Dude, I know and it's CRAZY! :cool1:

You should be runnin' around like your hairs on fire. :teeth:

I think I have mellowed a little because I haven't planned nearly with the same spazzicity as the last trip. :lmao:

I've been keepin' up. Just cause I ain't postin' doesn't mean I haven't been keepin' up.

So you have joined the Keith school of lurkdom? :rotfl:

I'm so excited for you all to go and have a wonderful time.

Miss ya' babe!

:goodvibes

Wow! 4.75 is amazing! :thumbsup2

:cool1: Terrific! She will love that! What airline did you book? Did you get a good deal?

:thumbsup2 Sounds like a fun weekend you have planned! Mmmmmm crawfish; I like 'em spicy! :cloud9:

The crawfish were great and spicy. My lips are still burning. Didn't make the game due to weather but we did hit the mall. I needed a formal for next weekend's ball, DH had to rent a tux. We booked Southwest out of New Orleans, direct flight. Didn't really get a deal because we're flying out on a Sunday, Monday would have been cheaper but not too bad, $450.50 for 2 round trip. I'm so glad I won't have to drive it now. Last two trips we drove. I wouldn't be able to share the driving with the 9 year old.:scared1:

What is your degree in? My undergrad is paid off already- this is grad school loans only. :scared: I can't even imagine owing all this and not working in the field. :faint: Michael would kill me. Really. And I would be disappointed as well. I really love my chosen field.

I'm afraid my oldest will be paying off student loans until he's gray. Currently he's on the 7 year plan just for his first degree . Looks like he'll be moving home to do his student teaching. He going to be a band director/teacher. Don't know how well the mom nagging is going to go over.

Yeah, I think allowing a 9 y/o to drive might be risky.

Did you find a formal? Have a photo? How neat that you get to get all gussied up. I think the last time I wore anything remotely formal was to my wedding. :lmao: What's the occasion?

Mmmm, spicy crawfish.........did you have beer too? :cloud9: I am jealous! I have really been mindful of what I am eating and beer and crawfish sounds SO good.

Yup, that's the norm with loans. I paid off my undergrad but it took almost 10 years. I will be 60 :scared: by the time these are paid unless I start doubling up which I will do once the car is paid off.

I did find a dress. Nice and matronly.:rolleyes2 I have a big shelf so shopping for dresses is very hard. My daughters went with me to give their opinion. This is for Michelle's formal, pinning thing I think. It's downtown at the Sheraton right next to the gaming boats. Yes we have legal gambling here. I just got back from buying my lottery tickets.:thumbsup2

No beer since it was a school thingy.

How neat; both the event and and being able to share that with her. :goodvibes

 I know and it's painful.
This weekend is SO busy and I just want to chill.
What do you have to do this weekend?

I'm so trilled. I booked our flights today. Now it means we're really going. But it will only be Danielle and I for 8 nights. She'll celebrate her 10 birthday in the World.
Booking flights is the best feeling!

Tomorrow we're going to middle child's sorority fundraiser. Crawfish on the Clover. Crawfish, jambalaya and all the cokes you can drink!(no booze) We're also hoping to catch the LSU spring game if it doesn't rain. Love me some college football! If it clears up by Sunday we're hoping to go to New Orleans to the Audubon Zoo.
Okay, that sounds so cool! Very New Orleans-y! I don't think I have ever actually tried crawfish...

Emma has her pictures in the morning for her dance recital. I have to be there (half hour away) at 8:00am. Getting Emma up at 6:00 will pose a challenge. Plus I still haven't figured out how to get her hair in a decent bun.:sad2:
I hated doing ballet hair! And the recital make up? blech.

I can't believe I'm away for a few days and you're already up to page 6! Boy you are a bunch of chatty ladies...........and a couple of dudes.
Hi Winkers!

I took her picture with tomorrow's # today while she was still in costume.:thumbsup2 I'm on the ball! (For once;))
I can't wait to see it!!!

3 weeks left and the only thing I have bought are swimsuits for the kids! :faint: My suitcases are in the basement still. :scared: I am so unprepared this trip. That or I am uber swamped with everything else.
Wow... that is SO the opposite of last year, huh? You know though, I think it is just different after the first time. I didn't spend a quarter of the amount of time planning the 2008 trip as I did on 2007.

JEN!!! Omg! How you been?

Me too. Now I want to get dressed up all girly! I never go anywhere that requires dressing up!

What do you have to do this weekend?

We had two soccer games, yoga, a going away party that I totally ducked out early on  and grocery shopping and cleaning and making dinner. Tomorrow we have religious school (I haven't even thought about my lesson plan for the morning), supposed to go see 17 Again with friends, laundry, dinner, finish cleaning, and organize for the upcoming week. :upsidedow And I have spent so much time reading the DIS today too.

It's so opposite really. I bought my Passporter but I don't think I have opened it for a good week. :scared1: Last time I read that thing every night before bed. :cloud9:

Me either. My favorite outfit includes a paid of yoga pants and fitted t-shirt.

:confused3 Only 20 days left and no one is posting? Everyone must be packing. :rolleyes1 That or enjoying this gorgeous Spring day! :cloud9:

Taught religious school this morning, weeded, and now am going to take the kids to see 17 Again. Gabby thinks she needs to get all dolled up because it's a Zac Efron movie. :rotfl2: Maybe I should wear a push-up bra? :lmao:

Then back home for a walk, more weeding, making dinner, and getting kids ready for the school week. Looks like Chloe's county report will just have to wait another week.

Ohhh Emma looks so precious in her costume.

We skipped the zoo due to rain still being in the forecast and went to see 17 again. Loved it. I wish I was 17 again and in school with Zach. I liked him much more in this than in High School Musical.

20 days!!! I still have 63.

Can I tell you that it just hit me that tomorrow we will be in the teens?!?!

Holy cow!!! Suddenly I feel stressed.:upsidedow:laughing:

The boys both got their hair cut today. That was another of the checklist items I've needed to get done before the trip. I bought new bath supplies (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc) so our bathroom bag can be totally packed.:thumbsup2 I still need to get sunscreen though.

I have all of the clothes that are ready to go in a storage tote. I can pack the suitcases now since we won't be using them again before the trip. :yay:

I think Jenny and I have swapped places. :teleport:Normally she's the super-prepared one & I'm the last minute packer. I guess we've rubbed off on each other. I think I got the better end of the deal though.:lmao:

Now I really want to go see 17 Again. Maybe I'll convince Nate to go this week.

63 days will go by fast!!

We saw it too today. How hot is Zac? :lovestruc :faint: When he came on the screen after his K-Fed makeover, Gabby and I looked at each other and our jaws dropped! My 12 y/o and I have the same taste. :rotfl2:

I told Emma you all thought she looked cute. Her response was, "I know.":rotfl: Should I be worried now?

OMGosh! We are now in the teens! 19 days!!!:wizard::faint::scared1:
