If the Evil Queen actually raised Snow White instead of trying to kill her, how much would Snow Whites’s personality have changed?

She'd have been rebellious, with a full line of merchandise readily available at Hot Topic.

So this becomes a nature vs. nurture debate. Would she actually be different? I think she would be to an extent at first, however I do think eventually she would see her stepmother for what she is and probably turn against her. It might manifest differently, whereas she ran away originally, she may actually face the Evil Queen and try to wrest control of the kindgom. I think her inherent good nature would win out, though it may be tempered with more pragmatism and less idealism. She might make a great Queen that way.

Interestingly, that leaves the question, who does become ruler after the Evil Queen dies? What is the story told to the subjects? The Evil Queen was basically smote by God, so I don't know how well that would go over. Then again, the people were probably happy to be rid of her all things considered.

It would make for a quirky Rom-Com. She hangs out with animals and dwarves, so there's going to be all kinds of hijinx in store.
I actually wonder if she was raised in a strict but loving environment would she dress even more conservatively like the E.Q. herself. Like if the E.Q. controlled Snow White’s wardrobe, would she really be able to dress like a rebel? A major difference between Evie and Snow is that one lost her mother and one still had one. This thread assumes that the E.Q. mostly got over her jealousy of Snow’s beauty.

I'd like to think the Evil Queen/Grimhilde was undone by her own ways. To quote Batman quoting Shakespeare, "Hoist by (her) own petard." But that may change, since the premise of Buzz's new Snow White is that the Queen doesn't try to kill Snow White. That's the entire schtick of that whole story right there. Thus removing the hateful resentment towards Snow White, or at least dampening it to something more passive-aggressive (ala Mother Gothel) Grimhilde may not be such a cruel leader after all. Also, she's concerned with her image, so like many politicians, she wants to look like she really cares for those peasants.

The only problem is the Magic Mirror. It's still going to tell the Queen that Snow White is the fairest. This means either:
A) Grimhilde decides for herself that she's pretty fly regardless, and loses the mirror.
B) Grimhilde gifts Snow White a pair of enchanted Crocs (she can never remove them!) and VOILA, the Mirror says "Oh you're definitely the fairest now, Queen."
The End.

She changes when she leaves the castle. No one puts Snow White in a corner!

Poor Paul Winfield, dude must have really needed the money.

And you all know Paul Winfield! Narrator for A&E's City Confidential!
Not to mention seen in The Terminator, Mars Attacks, and some Star Treks.

I've never been a big Trek fan, but I recently saw Paul Winfield's Next Generation episode on recommendation, "Darmok".

This was surprisingly really good. Winfield's character comes from a race that communicates through analogy, and gave his life in order to connect with Picard and the Feds. The story has it's contrivances, but felt like an old Twilight Zone or Outer Limits in it's manner and message.

I looked more into Paul Winfield. He was even nominated for an Emmy for his performance as Martin Luthor King Jr, and won an Emmy for his role as a judge on Picket Fences,. He passed in 2004, and was buried with his partner of 30 years. Seriously underrated actor.
