...... she will be OK. DD, that is.

DD's old boyfriend has an anger management problem and... well.... his own mother told him that she would never allow his sisters to date anybody like him. He has been verbally abusive for quite some time and we have gone to the school in the past for her support.

Well, he is actively trying to get her back...... being very, very nice..... putting on a good front..... all that jazz...... She has a new boyfriend that is nicer than the old one (by her own words) but the old one was her first, real love and her stood beside her during her pregnancy. She lives by her emotions, not her logic, and is having a tough time in staying away.

If you are so inclined to send her some prayers & PD, please feel free! I don't need to detail the consequences of pursuing such a relationship (we can all see it all too well!!) and she knows that we have banned him from our family & home. She understands why he is not welcome but she still has feelings. .......and he knows how to pull her heart-strings......

Today is the last day of school and they will not have any points of contact after today until next fall.

Just gotta be strong and get thru today.......

Yikes! The phone jsut rang once and whoever called hung up. The caller ID was from the school.

Now I don't know which child (or teacher) was calling me, if was a problem, or something simple.

I wish they had stayed on the line so that I kinew what was going on! I have enough nerves for today without second-guessing the phone call.
