If relatives are dropping us off at resort....

Do they have to pay for parking if they are literally just dropping us off and leaving?

Also.. one of us MIGHT be an AP holder, can they just show them that and not pay for parking?

If you are heading to resort, you do not have to pay for parking. The only location you would encounter this is heading towards the MK area resorts, which lie beyond the toll gates. Go to the booth furthest to the right, tell the attendant which resort you are heading to and they will wave you through. Stay to the right and follow the signs to the resort. No other resort requires passing through a toll to reach it. Enjoy!

I thought you only payed for Parking at the PARKS not the Resorts. Even if you did... you do not park to drop someone off. You go to the front door & bellservices unloads your luggage for you. I know if you have a car they give you a pass for parking. But I thought that was to keep non Disney guest from Using the hotels free parking & hopping a bus to the parks.
