I think it would also be nice to be able to use FP+ to reserve your bus time. It would be great if we could reserve bus time ahead of schedule, so we could just show up at the bus stop and jump on board.

As long as offsiters can pre-book, that would work perfect for me. It would come closest to meeting everyone's needs, including Disney's desire to lock-in guests and to encourage big spenders to book more days, while not frustrating people who spend longer hours at the parks and are more motivated to use FP. You wouldn't have to make RD to get TSMM or Soarin, but you'd still have hope that you could book two top tier rides. Seems like Disney is collecting enough data now to work out the math. The rules for getting more could be flexible based on projected crowd levels.

I am 1000% for off site getting to prebook! It's been said about 50% of visitors are off site....if you are offsite you definitely have a vehicle. Since Disneys goal is to lock in, I think it only makes sense to allow off site the ability to prebook.

I was just talking to a coworker and she told me she last visited in Jan. I didn't say anything about my feelings on FP+ but she randomly offered up that the new system was bad in her eyes....she had lots of problems with it too.

I'd like to see prebooking eliminated for everyone, or if you want to offer it as an onsite perk, allow 1 or 2 to be prescheduled. I just don't see the evil in first come, first serve, I guess.

I know these are tired arguments, but so far, FP+ doesn't seem to be accomplishing its goal of limiting time in lines for people. The SB lines are as long as ever! This seems to be a case of "We think it's broke so we're going to fix it, but surprise! The fix didn't fix anything." Because as I think everyone can agree...the real problem is the one Disney is trying to ignore...too few attractions for too many guests. Instead of trying high-tech "guest management" systems, they should be throwing their money at new attractions. No matter if you love or hate FP+, I'd think we can all agree that WDW could benefit from offering more attractions to guests.

I would have loved the option of splitting up between parks or being able to choose to repeat a ride instead!

Also, if you don't use them in a day, you should be able to bank them for the next day.

Here's what I would like to see.

5 MK (Add tiering... 3x of the current high end and 2x of the mid like Haunted Mansion and Pirates)
3 EPCOT (Keep tiering in place)
3 HS (Keep tiering in place)
3 AK (No tiering)

But here's the caveat...

If you pay for hoppers you should be able to use all of the above in one day. In order to prevent people hoarding slots though you would only be able to book a primary park well in advance, an additional park the day before, and any other parks upon arrival to the park.

Personally, I would like 1 in advance...maybe 2. And then the ability to book whatever is left the day of in the park you are in based on old rules. So a new one every 2 hours or so. I see this as perfect combo...folks that get there later still get a ride on TSM or Soarin' but folks old "super users" still get more than 3....that's an assumption of course. I know math is tricky and I haven't worked that out yet. And of course allow to use in more than one park and no tiers.

This is, by far, the best idea for FP+. If you don't like tiering then you shouldn't like FP+ in it's current incarnation. Ride capacity and the ability to pre-book necessitate it, there is no getting around that.

And I've said this several times before, under this system I would be HAPPIEST if they would use FP+ like dining credits. You could keep the round number of 3 per day, but it wouldn't feel as restrictive. If I am staying for 5 nights on site, give me 15 FP+ "credits" to use in whatever manner I choose, over those 5 days, with no restrictions. If I want to use 15 on day one and screw myself for the rest of my trip, so be it. If I want to wait and use all 15 on my last day, so be it. Just give me back my choice in the matter.

I have no idea how this would work with AP holders, I haven't thought that far ahead, LOL.

I've read through all of these and really like the freedom of this idea. If you visit for 7 days but take one non-park day you lose a chance at 3 fps for that day. The credits idea sounds great.

But that would also allow guests to benefit from days off Disney property at US or SW. For that reason, I don't see them doing this.

6 a day, the ability to use it in multiple parks, the ability to use it for an attraction more than once if you would like, and NO TIERS. That's reasonable and easy for them to put in place.

Easy and seems reasonable but I don't think this is possible under the current infrastructure anymore. I hate to beat a dead horse but I think the horse is already out of the barn. More people are using the system. As a PP said Disney has tried to more evenly distribute ride time to,everyone so that first timers can get a good experience and it has to come from somewhere. It stinks for those of us who have used the system for years and learned how to maximize it.

Disney is in the business to make a profit and they see the share the wealth policy as beneficial to their bottom line as a whole. When it gets to the point that their core customers start to vacation elsewhere and it negatively impacts bottom line, only then will they reevaluate. We enjoy the atmosphere at Disney and have ridden all of the rides many times. Our philosophy has always been easy going and "we can always do it next time". However, as it becomes harder and harder to do a next time, we will start to evaluate the cost/benefit.

Constant increases in dining prices, declining quality and $10 charges for reservations not cancelled at least 24 hours ahead have already caused us to move many of our dining dollars to off property restaurants and on property restaurants that don't take reservations. I could see the same thing happen with our entertainment dollars as well.

We were part of the Nov test, when you could do FP and FP+. At DHS and DAK, the three were fine. We really felt like we needed 4 at MK. We only used one old FP there and that was really only b/c Space Mtn broke down with us on it and messed up our morning touring plan. So we essentially needed 4 to make our plans work. That was in Nov though. I think with Dec or peak summer crowds we really would have wanted 5.

That being said, if we had multiple days in the park, I think we could have done fine with 3 per day. I certainly would prefer 4 or 5 at MK.

Even though we got the survey after, do you really think they will take our opinions into account?

I believe they would love to take our opinions into account but can't b/c they don't have the capacity. Although I would think they would have capacity to allow you to use in more than one park just not get rid of tiers. I think they send the survey out b/c Disney knows folks often feel better if they can give their opinion on something.

I'm good with the three a day and good with the tiering. It would be cool to be able to spread the three a day across parks, though. We aren't big fans of the headliners at Epcot, so last time we just made one for Maelstrom and ignored the two others it auto-assigned us. It would be ideal to park hop and use the other two at MGM or MK.
