If money was no object, which resort would you choose?

I would take my entire family (3 children and 6 adults) to stay in a Grand Villa at BCV or BWV or OKW.

Well I guess I would have to try Grand Floridian once, but I too would rather take the best room at the Yacht club.

Let me start by saying that I realize this thread's original idea was 'What WDW resort would you stay at if money were no object'.

I have been to DLRP, I live 20 minutes from Disneyland and I visit WDW at least 4-5 times per year. I have NEVER gone to Tokyo and I really, really, REALLY want to. Therefore, if money were no object I would stay in one of the Terrace Suites in the Mira Costa Hotel overlooking Tokyo Disney Seas for a wonderful 2 week vacation. There are larger, more elaborate suites at the hotel, but these suites have a large terrace with table and chairs that you can sit out on and just look at the park. BTW, given the current exchange rate, these rooms are $1,551.37 per night :earseek: For me, this would be one of my trips of a lifetime (like I stand a chance of every doing a month long trip to New Zealand and Australia).

Ok, now back you your regularly scheduled wishing and dreaming :p

Without a doubt....The POLY!!!!!!!!! someday.....

Beach Club.

Stayed there once several years ago for 2 nights and loved it.

The Yacht Club- a regular room is fine-no kitchen or kitchenette please, but a good view would be nice.

Either the Royal Asante suite or the Royal Kubu suite at AKL. I have now spent time in a two bedroom suite at AKL and I'd be happy as a clam just to spend another trip there! I loved having all the space to stretch out in and it was so nice to have two and a half baths to get ready in the morning and evening! *plus, nice to close my double doors and lock the kids' voices OUT of my room!

I would also love to stay at the Japanese (I think that is what it is called) at the Dolphin. Doesn't everyone need a grand piano in their living room? :)

:earseek: :earseek:

AT LEAST A WEEK AT ALL THE DELUXES . ALL THE CONCIERGE LEVELS WITH THE BEST VIEWS. DON'T REALLY NEED A SUITE. BUT IT SURE CAN'T HURT.

THEN I WOULD STAY TWO OR THREE DAYS AT THE MODERATE RESORTS JUST TO GIVE THEM A GOOD OVERVIEW.

EAT EVERYTIME AT THE BUFFETS OR CHARACTER MEALS I'M ONLY 38 AND GOT TO SEE MICKEY AND MINNIE EVERY DAY!!!

DON'T FORGET ABOUT TRYING OUT ALL THE POOLS AND EXTRA ACTIVITIES.

LEAVE THE GOLFING TO THE FOOLS WHO WANT TO TAKE IN ALL THE HEAT. (IM FROM SOUTH FLORIDA WE ONLY GO OUT AFTER 4P IF WE COULD HELP IT).

DID ANYONE MENTION SHOPPING WOOOOO SHOP EACH AND EVERY STORE THAT IT PASS.

Hi,

the Victorian suite @ GF (saw it on Great hotels, fell in love!!) for @ least a week. AKL concierge suite for a week. ::yes:: I be happy to live there but I'll settle for a week.

We've always stayed in a Garden View room ..... never lagoon or concierge. So, if money were no object I'd stay Lagoon View Concierge!!! Or better yet - in a Suite! :teeth:

Debbie

We'll take the room next to you. We love the Polynesian. Throw in the Lagoon View Concierge and it doesn't get much better than that!

Big Kahuna suite at the Poly... I've been wanting to stay at the Poly but cannot afford it! Actually, I stayed there when I was a kid, but that was way back when it was only the Poly or CR... and my parents paid for it... and I remember loving it... So now I'd like to take my DD.

I've stayed at all of the Deluxes (it took over 10 years to accomplish) and most of the concierge's.

However, if money were no object I would definitely stay at the Contemporary 14th Concierge Suite. It just sounds to good to pass up.

Maybe someday . . .:scratchin

I would love to try a suite at AKL and also a tower room at the Contemporary. Concierge, of course!

The Poly is my favorite but I have never seen a room at the Grand Floridian. So I would have a few nights at the GF followed by a week at the Poly. If I am really rich I guess I would like concierge... My family likes to eat and they'd lose money on us! :)

I would start with 5 nights at the Royal Palm at GF, then 4 nights LVC at the Poly, then 4 nights at concierge at YC, Then 4 nights concierge BWI and the piece de resistance AKL Concierge for 5 nights. Oh to hit lottery...::yes::

This will get a big laugh. Several years ago, my in-laws paid for a trip and we were staying at Dixie Landings...I was disappointed because it was then one of the least expensive resorts. That trip, we travelled around to all of the other resorts and to this day Dixie Landings (POR) is my hotel of choice. I love the grounds and all of the activities and the boat to Downtown Disney. Even my 11 year old DS said "we can't stay anywhere else mom...it is our Disney home".

Don't get me wrong...I wish they had concierge...but I am too scared to try somewhere else and be disappointed.

If we ever go longer than 7 nights, I will probably try Boardwalk or AKL.

Is everyone laughing now...
