If it's Tuesday, this must be Epcot. ALL FINISHED, PLEASE MOVE ME OUT. SO TIRED.

The regular captain said we have a "guest" with us today.
And it is Walt"s brother.
ROY?

I'm loving your trip reports and I'm no good at this quote thing either.
I was just wondering, didn't Walt's only brother Roy pass away in 1972????
I am paying attention.

In Star Tours at MGM, who originally did the voice of the commander of your space craft? Only clue; he wasn't the voice for long before he was replaced.
I can't answer that. I'm not old enough!!! :rotfl:

But. I feel your pain about the beer. But. What's more frustrating is the inconsistency in enforcing sad policies.

For instance. You got grief about 2 beers. I, on the other hand, purchased 4 glasses of Rosa Regale.

ALL BY MY OWN LITTLE SELF.

hound: yeah yeah how much did nebo pay you??? huh? huh?
Not a dime. He showed me where the Nacho window was right before Illuminations was about to start. :earboy2:

I was drawn by his looks, but fell in love with him for his intelligence and SENSE HUMOR! Guess he's a KEEPER!
And Nebo told me that you "fell in love" with him because of his Dancing. :dance3: :dancer:

Oh & Smidgy..... :bday: party: :rockband: :hippie: pixiedust:

Hi, got a little time here before my Undefeated Bears try to do the impossible and win on Monday Night Football.

After a talk with my lovely wife, it has been decided, that some of my recollections are not always up to "par" so to speak.

Even I was lying in bed last night thinking, Roy? That was Walt's brother, right? I know Walt died in 66, not sure how old he was then, but he was up there.
so, if Roy was his brother,, I'll give the normal sibling age difference, 5 years?, then Roy would have to be about 178 now.
No, he was old, but not that old.

Then Diane remembered he said he was -------- adopted son.
Not sure though if the blank was Roy or Walt, but I do remember the adopted son part.

So, Mel, you are probably right.

Oh, and from the "Invisible Man" segment I wrote a while ago?

I flubbed a bit there too on the "family participation" aspect.

She swears she was never an extra on the backstage tour in the naval scene demonstration.
I'd swear she was.
Boy, the sixties musta been really good to me.

And my youngest son, Jeremy didn't climb a building in the Earthquake preshow, his part was standing at the bottom of an escalator.
Hey! They have changed that preshow a bit, been a while, I'm sorry if my Commodore 64 brain didn't receive the 256 K upgrade.

Annnd, she was also chosen to participate in Sounds Dangerous, got to make some sound effects in the background.

Oh, and the part where I said the kids rode with the conductor on earthquake?
Nope.

That was on the King Kong ride, now defunct.

So, other than that, everything else is true. heh

I will say on my behalf, there has never been any notes taken on this trip report, or any other trip we've taken. I just usually have great recall about things that I totally enjoyed.
But not perfect.

Whats-her-name can usually fill in the parts I can't remember.

And, to be completely honest, I remember the may trip way better than the trip we just got back from in sept.
I guess that's where the resort hopping comes in and sparks the memory banks.

Also, all those nice things Smidgy said in her last post about me?
Of course, you know better. I'm thinking Stepford wife here. Gonna have to check her circuits.

thanks tigger, hound, sherridac, and the rest, gonna give it a rest here.
soon, neb

Nebo, Nebo, Bo Beebo, Fee Fi Fo Feebo, Nebo!!!!!

I don't mind a faulty memory. One bit. But. I refer to it as a "short attention span" !!!!

Just so ya know!!!!

so, if Roy was his brother,, I'll give the normal sibling age difference, 5 years?, then Roy would have to be about 178 now
. Yeah, but Mickey isn't even 80 yet!!

I'm thinking Stepford wife here. Gonna have to check her circuits.
Man....that line will put you on the couch for a day or two. :p

thanks tigger, hound, sherridac, and the rest, gonna give it a rest here.
Whatever....but we're gonna bring you back like Jim Baker.

hound :smokin:

Absolutely Lovin this!!!

I spent my whole day and most of last night reading your trip report...

Fabulous, so far...can't wait to read more, you're gonna write about your september trip too, aren'cha?

...off to read about Jamie...

First, Tiggerwannabe, glad your having fun, that's what I'm here for.
And, not sure about the september trippy yet.

Oh, and Hound? Texas isn't that far, got a spare room I can use for a couple nights? Least until she gets rewired.
And , again oh, your Jim Baker reference, You mean the evangelist that got, um, deflowered and sent to prison? Wasn't that Jim Bakker? Is, um, crap, what was her name, OH, is Jessica Hahn staying there too?
Make it one night.

AAAAAAAND. That's it, We've got her.
The truth is out.

I quote: ( in my own anemic way)

Nebo, Nebo, Bo Beebo, Fee Fi Fo Feebo, Nebo!!!!!

This is a song that made it , hmm, all the way up to number 3 on the Billboard charts, done by Shirley Ellis, (trust me on this) in the year................ 1965!
I was only 8 years old at that time, but our dear miss sheridac can quote and adlib it perfectly.

A round of geritol for everybody.
On me.

I also just noticed two other frightening things.
Jaime"s trip report was already moved to the mausoleum.
And I"m not done with it yet.
Yes, you can still read it, I don't think you can post there anymore though.

And even more scary,
I just saw under mine, a trip report done by someone named Sheridac.
Can't be the same person, nah, anybody quoting old mid- sixties songs would be way too old.

Gotta go, Hound, leave the key under the mat, :wizard:

Oh, nebo, nebo. You'd better pour yourself another round.

Of geritol.

In 1965. I was.

Well.

Not quite.

One.

:teeth:

Sorry, one more thing to Pt Hound 109,
That was one heckuva display you did with the dancing icons , followed by the happy birthday ones.
Nice job. :thumbsup2

Happy (belated) Birthday Mrs. Nebo

may you have many many more ...

you two look mahvelous!

you sir are hilarious!

I am planning a hubby and me trip to WDW this coming january :teeth:

I've been taking notes ;)

Now, I have to say something about that other place I mentioned. I'm not going to include that in the report cuz I can hear some of you guys teeth grating, but I do think it's our responsibility to at least keep them in business.
Just like you never see a whopper place without a mickey d's nearbye, the two of them competing is in our best interest.
For example, fastpass brought us uni express pass which brought us extra magic hours that brought "stay four, pay for three" which begat free dining which begat Isaac and so on.
So, it was our duty to spend a little time there for all the DISers.
Your welcome.

You,my dear are one brilliant piece of humanity. Thank you and keep up the good work!!

Re: Title "More Filler".....Would that be "chum".

Oh, and Hound? Texas isn't that far, got a spare room I can use for a couple nights?
Any time Nebo. Only $150 a night, but you get a snack credit (trail mix), a counter service credit (if you like meat loaf sandwiches) & a buy one / get one coupon from Planet Hollywood.

And , again oh, your Jim Baker reference, You mean the evangelist that got, um, deflowered and sent to prison? Wasn't that Jim Bakker? Is, um, crap, what was her name, OH, is Jessica Hahn staying there too?
You knew i meant the old pro former S of State. But I always get J Hahn confused with that "Monkey Business" girl.

Jaime"s trip report was already moved to the mausoleum
I saw that too. I have read half way thru Tiggerbell's report. I wanted to comment that her final picture of Wishes (where she said " & then the Castle blew up and we all went home" had me.... :rotfl2: )

I just saw under mine, a trip report done by someone named Sheridac.
Yeah, but probably doesn't know what an 8 track player is..... but if i don't have you (or Tiggerbell) to kick around anymore... she does appear to have game....probably as good as place as any to :stir:

Great Report Nebo.....Ditka would be proud. :thumbsup2

The sad part is, it still cracks me up - and I wrote it!!!!!!!!!! I'm THAT funny!!!

I'm also not happy my thread is closed for comment - I'm going to have to write more here... :rolleyes1

I have 3 other trip reports out there that aren't closed yet - POST ON THOSE!

Wow! SHAMELESS AND A HUSSY!

First!!!

Send out the chopper!!!! I think nebo may have overdosed himself on the ol' geritol! :teeth:

Second!!!

Hound!!! You're so sweet(ish). I think(ish). You're welcome over at my house anytime!!!

Question!!!! You bringing the beer????

Threefer!!!

Jaime!!!! SHAMELESS!!!! SHAMELESS, I SAY!!

I LIKE it!!!!! :teeth:

sO, thIs is what Happnens wheN the end getS" near.
EverYbody turnAS Nutz.

Rie' Smom, thanks, appreciated. But you have me mixed up with my favorite humorist, Erma Bombeck. She was the best.

Sheridac, sorry, if you were born in the sixties, you're a baby boomer.
Nice try.

150? Hound? wow, Pop is only 74 this time of year.
And Tiggerbell, you can always use this forum to post, you have carte blanche. ( whatever the heck that means.)

Ok, I just poured myself a double shot of Early Times, screw the geritol, to the new, upcoming union of Sheridac and my wing man, Hound.

Now

I think it's time to get these two out of MGM, before he gets in more trouble.

Fantasmic was terrific, as usual, and just when the lights were turned up,
I could see Diane doing the deep breathing thing.

Oh Yeah.
She's gearing up.
You see, this is her finest hour.

Nobody, absolutely nobody, can get out of Fantasmic, faster than Diane.

If you have been there you know what it's like.
A complete madhouse.

Actully scary.
First, you have to make your way up to the walkway via the stairs, then you come down the path into the rest of the park.

I read in someone else's trippy here the best description of it the best.
sorry, I'd give credit if I could remember who said it,

But leaving Fantasmic is like the Running of the Bulls.

Only bloodier.

We always sit right in the center, which means we are no where near the ramp down.

She doesn't hop the benches, even lets families with kids out in front of her.
But then, Look out.
She grabs my hand, and we are "gone" baby.

There are a thousand people ahead of us, no problem, she weaves and dodges, sometimes I have to duck, othertimes I have to jump, I mean Walter Payton would have been in awe.

We get to the bus stop, ON the first bus, I could have sat again, but you know my rule on that. We are back at the resort, and Mickey is still climbing down from the top of the mountain.

I asked her what the motivation was:

"Those were 20 oz. beers."

Ahhh

Back at Pop, I'm feeling a little frazzled.
No, not from the escape, that was exhiliarating, ( why won;'t somebody stop me from using these types of words?)

No, the thing is with me, I know this is the last "real night" we have her.
Yep, got another full day left, but gotta leave the next morning after that.
Early.

Back in the room, she asks;

" So, what do you want, salami? baloney?"
No , hon, want another drink?

I made us each a drink, we took them down the elevator, and just started walking.

Walked past the Bowling pin pool, two kids in it.
Past the Hippy Dippy pool, 20 kids in it.
Down to the lake we went, and walked across the bridge holding hands.

Just stood on the bridge, checkin it out, ( sorry), and it was one of the best times ever, just holding her, and knowing the only real people she has had to talk to in the last two weeks, is me.

No, we don't even have cell phones.

When you can drive 25 hundred miles and share a small room with someone for two weeks and not be at each others throats, that's incredible.

We strolled along the waterfront, reading the generation signs.
This is something you cant do at an All Star resort,
We walk thru the "foosmen" again, and then, back to the room,,
we have baloney sandwiches.

Next morning, a bit of a late start, our last day here and we're going to Epcot. We both go down together and get our coffee and tea, and paper, then head over to the bowling pin pool.

nope, no yo yo's for me, thank you very much.

Thankfully, no special effects today,,,, although I kept staring at a bowling pin sayin, " go ahead, make my day".

sorry guys, gotta run, tomollow, :grouphug:

Phew!!! I was just thinking I'd have to bump this bad boy back up there. Where it belongs.

Underneath mine. Naturally. :teeth:

Well. Now. That is just about the sweetest thing. I ever saw.

Even if you did call me old.

PS~ You still have a decade on me fella. Just so ya know. :teeth:

But leaving Fantasmic is like the Running of the Bulls.

Only bloodier.
No kidding! My kiddo & his cousin (ages 4 & 6) insisted on riding on my bro in law's & my shoulders on that bull run. With the bumping and the darkness, it was like ridin Dinosaur with a todler on your shoulder. Bro & I kept glancing concerned and knowingly at each other. The kids....they wanted to grab a FP & do it again. :yay:

I mean Walter Payton would have been in awe.
There's that Ditka thing again.
