If it's between an Italian or Mexican restaurant, which would you choose?

Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen around here, so I'd always pick Mexican.

Refritos, rice and a chicken burrito. A cold one on the side. Happy man.

I'm not big on Italian but I'm always up for Mexican food. Unfortunately, I can't get the kind of Mexican food I enjoy around here (I like NEW Mexican food and mostly what's served around here is watered down TexMex) so if I want Mexican food, I have to make it myself. And it takes a whole afternoon to make enchiladas correctly!

Mexican. Never been big with Italian, but they have an awesome Mexican restaurant here. The salsa is to die for, and the portions huge but cheap.

My stepfather is Hispanic and so we always had mexican food at home. Every Sunday he would drive to a shady part of Ft.Worth to get menudo and barbacoa (sp?). We had tamales coming out our ears and enough mexican sausage (sorry..can't think of the name..choriso???)to create a whole pig. So having to eat mexican all the time growing up has permanently burned me out on it. I'll eat it every once in awhile...but I won't eat it unless that's where DH is going usually.
