Hey everyone! Really great to read the latest additions. Thanks to everyone for posting and also to Kim for resurrecting the thread!

If it were not for the Dis I would never have seen the back exit out of Disney Studios (TSM)! It's just a bunch of operational buildings but really interesting to see at night when no-one is around and all the staff car parks are empty!

Are you making fun of me? It seriously took me 30 minutes to figure out how to play the game.

If it weren't for the DIS I:
- wouldn't own DVC
- would probably go to Disneyland a lot more than WDW
- would have never joined Facebook

I've got to weigh-in on this thread. Great thread topic!

- Made great friends who love Disney as much as us.

- Had backup dancers during karaoke

- Travelled to MI, and schooled someone in ping pong.

- We would have never saved a ton of money on our Orlando trips. These boards provide a wealth of knowledge on how to save money on your trips; especially when they first started up over 10 years ago.

- Got in good shape and ran a memorable race with 5 friends for charity. I realized what a big influance people can be on my life; even people I never met before.

- Planned an annual meet with Disney nuts like us.

- Know the following terms & Phrases

Dis-A-Palooza
Sr. Jorge
Poddie Cruise
Prize-Matron

This community is really amazing. Just when I think I've seen it all, I'm surprised what can happen when people pull together to try and accomplish something.

I never would have gone to see Cirque. I kept reading on here how great it is - (nevermind Pete's comments ) and we finally went this past summer! loved it!

Also, when we took our first Disney Cruise in 2000, I was trying so hard to find good info on it for my research. I finally found the Dis Cruise Board in 1999 and that's when I became a member of the Dis! Everyone was so helpful! (My join date is incorrect because my info was lost in the infamous board crash and I had to rejoin.)

Anyway - I strongly encourage everyone to become a site sponsor and/or give Dreams Unlimited a try if you haven't already. I feel like it's my way of giving back.

Had a facebook page and asked people to be my friends on it...so not like me to do something like that.

Received all the help planning my Disney family trip last year, even though I had alot of trouble following my plan. I will do better next time.

(third one down, 4th about to be booked!)

I wouldn't have stayed at the Dolphin... very pretty and great location!

I would never have become the "go to person" in my small community when it comes to Disney vacations!

I would never have cared so much for people I've never met. I too talk about the podcast team like I know them personally... it still takes some extra explanation to my DH
