If it doesn't stop raining

my grass is going to be 2 feet tall. In some spots it's already up to 1 foot. It seems like whenever it's been sunny lately, it's been when I was at work, then it rains again before I get home.
I can't believe I'm looking forward to getting it cut, but it looks like a jungle out there.

LOL, Laurie, I hear you on that one! Luis finally got the front and side cut today. Our back (fenced in) looks awful... I walked through it and it was like a jungle!!! I hope you get yours cut soon!!

LOL, it's pretty bad when I'm getting my cheap thrills by the thought of cutting grass.

Don't feel bad, ours get neglected for 3 weeks when DD was down for the count in the hospital, and we were looking for giraffes when we finally mowed last weekend. We had to mow it today so it wouldn't get too high and probably the day before we leave for WDW in five days, so it does not get out of control! Darned rain, then all we do is send it to you!

I hear you too and we live in one of those neighborhoods where people throw fits if the lawns aren't cut on time. I started to cut it yesterday but had to run some errands and never got around to it.

Then this morning John and I got up early and it was pouring, it only stopped within the last hour. Oh well!

People don't have fits around here, well, no one but my inlaws.
I'm not the only one in the neighborhood who hasn't had a chance lately so I don't feel quite as bad.

its finally stopped raining and the sun is starting to peek out, so maybe the day isn't lost.

Uh oh, now I've got to get out there and try to cut it.

I know I hate rain. It rain for two hours at the baseball park the other day we had a 2 hour delay. Makes it so bad the baseball game just start.

We play to 3 innings before it starting raining again for another 2 hours.

That baseball game did not get play that day.

I have a correction to make. It Is/was two feet tall. I'm halfway done. I've got to mow the back, but I'm playing chicken with a cloud. I don't think it's coming my way, but I'm trying to let the grass back there dry some more. The front wasn't dry all the way and it fought back. The back has more shade so it won't dry as fast anyway.
I have a favor to ask of everyone to the north of me. I need the cloud to go away, so would you please, BLOW!!!!
